I had a very concerning experience with this doctor regarding my adult son. He has been vomiting almost daily for the past year and has lost over 80 pounds in less than a year—something that is clearly serious and requires medical attention. Despite this, the doctor was dismissive and did not take the situation seriously. Because my son had a colonoscopy and endoscopy less than a year ago that came back normal, the doctor refused to consider any additional testing or further investigation. No new ideas, no referrals, and no sense of urgency were offered. Given the severity and progression of his symptoms, I expected a more proactive approach to rule out potentially serious underlying causes. When symptoms this significant go unaddressed, it raises real concerns about what could be missed. It was incredibly frustrating and alarming to feel like such severe, ongoing symptoms were being brushed off. Chronic vomiting and significant, unexplained weight loss should never be ignored. I… would not recommend this provider if you are looking for a doctor who listens, investigates thoroughly, and takes patient concerns seriously.

Dr. Yong is a very good gastralogist!

I was very pleased with Dr. Yong. Both my colonoscopy and my follow up went very well. He was very nice and explained my situation in a manner that I could understand. I would highly recommend him. I have to have surgery next but feel confident that his diagnosis and recommendations were spot on.

Dr. Yong was very nice. He was busy however took the time to explain both the procedure and then after, the results of the procedure. I had seen reviews stating that he did not have a good bed side manner and would not talk to or listen to patients. I did not find that at all. He was very nice and professional. I would use him again.

Dr. would not listen to me nor had he looked at the records I had sent over from the VA which explains in detail what is going on and what needs to happen. Instead he gets it in his head this is a relaps and wants to do the same treatment I just had which didn't get the virus but did stop it somewhat.
