Dr. Jung-Wen Chen, MD

My poor review is based upon a single illness (all other illnesses diagnosed by the doctor would have been rated 4 star). The doctor ignored/misdiagnosed the onset of kidney disease & damage, despite the events occurring and obvious symptoms. He reused to run a requested blood test that would have decisively revealed kidney damage. He refused to refer me specialist (nephologist). Although I wanted to, I did not sue him for malpractice because I was too sick at the time. The statute of limitations has since prevailed.

Dr Chen is a wonderful physician who is relentless in tracking down the cause of your symptoms. Very accurate and up-to-date on newest medicines and therapies, very kind, and very respectful of his patients. I have freely recommended him over our thirty-year association. One of the best, hands down.
