Dr. Junichi Yamamoto specializes in endovascular and cerebrovascular surgery for the treatment of cerebral aneurysm, arterio-venous malformations (AVMs), and carotid artery disease. He also has advanced training in performing neurointerventional procedures for treating patients with stroke. Dr. Yamamoto provides minimally-invasive treatment for acute stroke patients in a state-of-the-art bi-plane angiography suite. Known for treating some of the most complex cerebrovascular cases, Dr. Yamamoto utilizes a very individualized approach to patient care: "Since these are very complicated diseases, I am committed to getting the patient and their family deeply involved in all decision-making," says Dr. Yamamoto.

Dr. Yamamoto is the absolute BEST physician EVER. I had two brain aneurysms and my family was told I had a 20% chance of survival. This man saved my life and I cannot say enough about him.

Dr Yamamoto is wonderfully gifted, kind, an excellent communicator, thorough and passionate about his care for patients. He saved my husbands life!

My mother died because Dr. Yamamoto did not put any effort into her after care and when I asked questions about it, I was quickly dismissed by his resident doing hisnroundsmfor him. Unacceptable. He is also not board certified. This should be a requirement.

Dr Yamamoto was my surgeon to repair two brain aneurysm I had. He was excellent in my care and how he handle my family to prepare them for my surgery. He told them what to expect. His bedside manner toward me, help ease my family fears of my surgery. I owe him my life.
