RUN AWAY FAST! I had a root canal done by him at Lovett Dental of Beaumont last week. The dentist was horrible. He didn't numb me completely. When I winced in pain he chuckled, looked at me and said "I guess you didn't like that very much, did you?" He kept going. I started crying in pain. He again laughed at me and said "Oh, does this really hurt that bad?" And he kept going. He didn't give me another local until he finished drilling through the pulp. It was pure suffering. When he finished he wrote me a script for a pain medication I was allergic to. When I confronted him he told me to take Tylenol and sent me home without any pain meds at all. I was in complete agony for two whole days. All I could do was sit on the floor in a cold sweat and shake. I couldn't eat. I couldn't drink. I couldn't take care of my three year old watching me in horror. I lost six pounds and got so dehydrated I stopped peeing. Not to mention he wants me to come back for a procedure that will make my gums… receed. He refused to cap my root canal until I have this done and my gums receed. He said my roots would be exposed and I would develop extreme sensitivity to temperature and spice. He said my teeth could come loose. Why would I consent to that? These people are sorry. They get off to your pain and suffering, and they maximize it. And they try to pressure you into unnecessary and potentially harmful procedures. BE AFRAID of these people. Be VERY AFRAID. Your fear will be justified. So, make your own choices. As for me, I am taking my records and running away from there as fast as my feet will carry me. And, oh, btw... I posted this review on their Facebook page with a one star rating. They hid it. Only the five star reviews are shown. They are liars, too.
