Barked orders at me, deferred to my husband in a manner impossible to ignore, gave me the price of treatment and as a worker's comp patient that was that. Would not clarify questions I had. Thick accent and when I had trouble comprehending him, tried to pal around with my husband like it was my fault. Awful experience.

I was not looking forward to having an EMG, as it can be painful, and I already have plenty of pain. Dr. Tang set me at ease, talked with me about my history and symptoms, and performed the test in as kind and thorough a manner as I could hope. He shared his findings with me, which really helped set my mind at ease. (I always find it best to know what is and isn't true.) His office was also very convenient for me, and it's a relief to know there's a physiatrist (specialist in physical medicine, i.e., muscle, bone, soft tissue or nervous system) close at hand to whom I would gladly return. I cannot comment on follow up as my appointment was this week.

I was seeking the help of a Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician for my chronic pain. I was looking for a doctor that would look at the whole picture and diagnose what was causing my chronic pain. Unfortunately, this doctor had no interest in conducting research to resolve my ongoing pain problem. Total waste of my time and money. I went to him because I needed a knowledgeable medical professional to diagnose cause of chronic pain. Obviously, this was the wrong choice in doctors. Extremely dissatisfied with physician.
