Dr yang was excellent,

i visited dr yang today for a low T problem...my labs and primary doctor said i had low T ...he looked at my labs and said they were fine (300) and said i didnt need testosterone shots and should quit them. He assured me he was a expert in this field. His only evaluation was, "you have muscle, so your testosterone levels must be ok"..ive been working out for 30 years, but apparently the fatigue, low libedo, low testostrone levels, and aches and pains (they are low by every piece of literature i have read, should be 600-1100)dont mean anything..maybe he should get his head out of the computer and pay attention and listen to the patient...i am so mad right know i could just bust...he wasted my time and money and expects me to wait another 4 months and come back for tests..well thats great for his wallet but doesnt do much for me and they way i feel...i wont be going back!!!!

I have been extremely frustrated with Dr. Yang. My last visit ended in tears. I had gestational diabetes, and it did not go away after my pregnancy. I have been doing my best to manage my blood sugars with little to no help from Dr. Yang. I had a list of questions for him, and I expected to talk with him at my appointment, especially after waiting for an hour to see him. Instead, he walked out the door while I was asking a question. The entire time he was in the room with me, he was focused on the computer and the data in it rather than turning and talking to me. He did not focus on me as a person even once. I am trying to figure out which medication will work best for me; nothing I have tried has been helping. I eat basically zero carbs, I exercise, and I am at a very healty weight. His advice to me is to continue exercising, don't gain weight, and just continue eating my current diet. My diet consists of the exact same thing every day, every meal. (eggs, salads, tuna, vegetables) My… sugars are too high and I seem to be the only one who is concerned. I am switching doctors. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.

Dr. Yang focuses on lab values versus how I FEEL. The closer my thyroid levels were to 'perfect' the happier he was but he refused to listen that I felt like crap- tired, weight exploded (45 lbs in 6 months). I will give him props for finding the correct med because with my lupus- I'm allergic to most medications. When I tried to talk to him about the weight gain- his response was to eat less.... My intake was at 1,000-1500 calories a day!! Not once did he mention white startches are NOT my friend, nor did he mention to stay away from the carbs- my PCP is the one who told me that tidbit of info. I am one that demands a doctor listen and talk to me- I know my body better than any doctor- and Dr. Yang, although pleasant- dictates- doesn't listen well. I would not be quick to recommend him. He's being placed on the curb.......

This doctor was horrible. I have thyroid issues and it is well known. After having 8 different doctors/dentists tell me my thyroid was HUGE, this quack had the nerve to say it was normal size. QUACK! I wouldn't have wasted my time on this appt and would NEVER reccommend him to anyone. I actually have been telling EVERYONE i know to NEVER go to this doctor. Turns out I do have HUGE thyroid issues and they could have been fatal had I not asked for a 2nd opinion! He should NOT be practicing, and should listen to his patients!!
