Many surgeons have a rep for being efficient, skilled and distant when it comes to dealing with patients. Check the first two boxes for Dr. Brower, --but not the last. He was patient, conversational, and took his time making sure I understood everything, from his initial contact with me in the ER, through surgery and post-surgery follow-up. I really can't say I've ever had a more pleasant experience with a doctor --and I've been around more than 65 years!

I went to Dr. Brower for a colonoscopy which is covered 100% by my insurance. First they want you to have a consult and charge you a $25 co-pay. So much for !00% covered. After the Operation I was billed by Two different Labs for Lab work. The results of the Lab work were sent directly to the doctors office. I could not make it to a follow-up appointment and had to cancel. The doctor sat on the results and never contacted me. For all I knew I might have had Cancer. I contacted the Doctors office to question the lab bills and why I was never contacted about the results. They tried to make it sound like it was my fault because I didn't make it to the follow-up appointment. When I questioned them about the lab bills they sent me through Warren General Hospital"s Billing Labyrinth with no answers and no call-backs with information. Oh did I mention this whole thing was supposed to be preventive maintenance which is covered 100% by my insurance. Needless to say I will never do business with… Warren General Hospital ever again.
