Dr. Justin Michael Dexter, MD

The naysayers aside, I found Dr.Dexter to be extremely competent and professional as to his professional manner and conduct. He indeed gave me everything that ‘I’ needed to make for a rational choice as to by cataract surgery and what I could reasonably expect from its outcome. I chose to use the high-end PanOptix lens, as I felt they best suited me for my particular skills as an artisan whose eyesight was diminishing. The end result was a 70-some year old with 20/20 vision. Could I ask for more? Hardly. I would most highly recommend Dr. Dexter to anyone having to face the prospect of cataract surgery, hands down!

I usually don’t do reviews, oddly when I first searched I only found good reviews about Dr. Dexter but now I’m finding several like mine… It was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a doctors office. Dr Dexter is very pompous, rude and just plain mean in my opinion. I am young to have cataracts and also have some retinal issues, he was very curt, instead of making me feel at ease like other doctors have, he said call me when you’re ready to take the risk of retinal detachment and worse vision, he made me feel like I have no options, I will need surgery eventually but hey could go blind… this conversation took all of about 5 mins, when I asked about the different lenses they used, he said we aren’t even going to talk about that! What we are going to talk about is your (COVID) vaccination status… which is none of his business… he then proceeded to lecture me for 3 times as long as talked about my eyes, letting me know how smart he is and dumb the unvaccinated are, I just let him talk… but I left there in tears and will never go back! Dr. Dexter was a huge disappointment considering what a wonderful doctor his father is…

pompous & arrogant Not impressed at all. He is rude, extremely pompous and arrogant. Not to mention he looked extremely uncapped. I ended up by walking out of his office due to his poor professionalism and arrogance.

Dr. Dexter took great care of my father. He left with 20/20 vision and no need for glasses anymore at 72 yrs old.

This was my second visit to Dr. Dexter and he came "highly" recommended. I went there because of problems that I was having and they put drops in my eyes to dilate them. When I walked out of the building... it was sunny out, and I could not see! Fortunately, my glasses were transitional and that helped and was better when I finally stumbled to my car.. was a dangerous situation... I called the office and they said that I should have "asked" for shades from them or brought my own... not impressed..

This is by far the most pompous person, not doctor, person I have ever met! Talked down to me the whole time and tried to blame my issues on my gp. Won't ever go back.
