I do not recommend this provider under any circumstance. Find someone else, do your research and background.

I was referred to Dr Evanson by my dental provider for a simple implant procedure. The day of my implant, Dr Evanson pierced my inferior alveolar nerve, a branch of the mandible nerve. The implant had to be immediately removed. I have suffered significant nerve damage (like sticking your mouth in an electric socket) every time I brush my teeth. In looking at the xrays Dr Evanson chose an implant that was way too long and it was certain to pierce that nerve. (The Maxillofacial surgeon that corrected it 5 months later after the bone/tissue healed chose an implant half the length Dr Evanson selected as to not have even the remote possibility of contact with that nerve. I have incurred thousands and thousands of out of pocket expenses due to this very poor outcome. I believe a patient going in for an implant has a reasonable expectation that a Maxillofacial surgeon can identify proper placement of an implant to avert permanent nerve injury. I felt his care, documentation and follow… ups (or lack thereof) met below standard of care guidelines. I have suffered incredibly and wouldn't wish permanent nerve damage on my worst enemy. It is incredulous to me that there is not more oversight and accountability in the dental world of implants. Patients and consumers should really do their homework on implants and their providers. Based on my devastatingly negative experience I would not feel comfortable recommending this provider to anyone.

I had 6 pulled yesterday. From my first appointment to the actual surgery, I received excellent treatment and care. I was extremely satisfied with the end product. Dr Evanson has great professionalism and knowledge, and I would recommend him highly.
