Dr. Justin J Finch, MD

I saw Dr. Finch for the first time and during my appointment, he was condescending, racist, and homophobic. Not only was I denied care and told to reschedule if I had additional questions about my skin, my questions were met with suspicion rather than true engagement. His bedside manner was poor, he referred to my partner as my relative, though we disclosed who she was and why we were in the room together more than once. Dr. Finch also condescendingly stated that my questions were rooted in my attempt to be "incredulous," even though I outlined my medical history, and the difficulty I have experienced treating my skin. Several Dermatologists in CT (see reviews of other locations and physicians, i.e. West Hartford Dermatology) fail to offer quality care to patients of color, and I undoubtedly know that his infantilization, racist, and homophobic views are rooted in antiblackness. My insurance company is investigating misconduct. If you’re a person of color, seek care outside of the… state, if you can.

Got a tattoo removed by Dr Finch and the whole thing is white permanently now. I was told this was improper laser technique by him. Terrible doctor

The office staff was inefficient and uncaring. Dr. Finch was dismissive with my concerns of my skin lesions. The overall app't took two hours to remove one skin lesion on my shoulder. I do not plan to go back.

Have been a patient for about a year. I am working on getting rid of some age related issues such as keratoses, small facial veins, spider veins. Dr Finch is very skilled and efficient, I've been very pleased with the results so far. He also takes the time to explain procedures and anser any questions.
