Dr. Justin Kenneth Greisberg, MD

I am 32 years old. Got 4 bad ankle fractures late March 2024 snowboarding in Colorado. Read thousands of reviews with my broken ankle on multiple surgeons for severe breaks. Got surgery with Dr. Greisberg April 2024. I take my body serious with having a physical life/work so needed to be sure I was finding a surgeon who knows what they are doing. I got surgery 5 months ago and I’ve been walking since July. Can walk 9k steps so far a day and still getting better. Seeing the reviews before this one is what made me make my own review. My business requires me to be physical so I went to a surgeon that I knew I’d have a high probability of recovery. If you care about surgery and doing things right this is someone I genuinely recommend. Grateful to know the man!

I found him to be harsh and hurried, as if I was there to just waste his time . I have a long career in healthcare and he was undecidedly arrogant and dismissive. If someone comes to see you it’s because they feel it’s a problem that you might help with. No empathy here. I am now still house and car bound with chronic pain after being very active my whole life . Disappointing experience to say the least. Even the front desk associate said to me on the way out “ you’re done, that was quick!”

Dr. Greisberg is THE BEST, period. I feel so fortunate to have him as my physician.

I can see why the waiting room was bustling. Although it seemed like there was other doctors to see as well. My wait time was normal 20 min. Dr. Greisberg was kind, knowledgeable and not rushed at all. He took his time and gave me options. He did not push me into surgery like the local doctor I saw. If I decide my path leads to surgery (after following his advice for a month or two)... he will be my surgeon and I know I am in the best hands. Thank you dr. Greisberg.

For me, Dr. Greisberg was the doctor you always hope you'll get when something bad happens. After breaking my leg, I was taken by EMS to a community hospital with a wonderful orthopedics team, but one that did not have a strong depth of experience in trauma. I was in pain and to be quite honest a little overwhelmed after hearing that my injury would have long term repercussions. I reached out to Dr. Greisberg on the recommendation of a physician colleague and he handled the process of making a plan of care (which included transferring hospitals, insurance approval, figuring out if it was possible to get me home to my 4th floor walk-up while awaiting surgery and afterwards) with such incredible grace and attention to detail. This was not a clearly not a business transaction, this was simply what he does best which is treating traumatic fractures from the second they happen to when they are finally healed to the best extent of his abilities while addressing all the important milestones… between. Incidentally, I spoke to many of the residents (of which I had previously been one, so I have a special commiserating bond) and across the board they would speak in unprompted and glowing terms about Dr. Greisberg both with respect to his knowledge and skill, but also his commitment to teaching. I could not have asked for a better experience and am incredibly grateful to him and his team for all their expertise, caring, and help along the way.

Severely lacks any listening skills/bedside manner - He told me my foot pain was due to my bunion that needed surgery without ever even asking me where my pain was located. After not feeling comfortable with his diagnosis, I got a second opinion from a doctor who actually asked me the basic questions a doctor should, and based on our conversation, she sent me to get an MRI done and it turns out I have a bone fracture (unrelated to my bunion). I completely agree that he speeds through the appointment and is extremely arrogant (not sure why when he misdiagnosed such a basic issue) and he will talk AT you, not with you. He shook my hand after talking at me loudly and quickly for a whopping 3 minutes and his body was halfway out of the door as I tried to sneak in a question or two before scheduling surgery with his secretary. He is money hungry and views his patients as bags of cash. I should mention I'm 23 years old, so I'm sure he thought he'd get a nice payout for a low-risk surgery… since I'm young and healthy. My mother was so disgusted by this she called him to complain and his response was "Look on the bright side, at least she doesn't have to get surgery!" Ha, this guy is a joke and a half.

Although he is very knowledgeable, you feel rushed at your appointment. He spends a whopping 5 minutes with you. Medical assistant is sweet. Girl that checks you in has the personality of a wet mop. Not worth the trip

Excellent surgeon

Dr. Greisberg is brilliant, easy to talk to and does not do unnecessary surgery. I saw him after many months of seeing other doctors and he gave me a simple solution which worked quickly. I was quite grateful and relieved.
