Dr. Justin Grady Matrisciano, MD

I have been seeing this doctor for about 2 years now. They are thorough and when I expressed my concerns about needing additional tests, I was heard and Dr. Matt and Kyle researched the tests I was asking for. The staff has been nothing but friendly to me and all of my appointments have been in and out- no waiting. They are very prompt and efficient- which is a nice change from the many specialty doctors I have seen who are usually running behind by an hour or two.

Does not explain things and does not listen

I've seen this doctor for a few years now. He's not very approachable. It's very hard to get an appointment. When you have one, you'd better not be late or else they will not see you.

Receptionist and othe staff extremly rude. One staff member when I asked about getting samples of my medication, slammed the waiting room door in my face. The receptionist called to inform me that my appointment to see the Physician Assistant had been canceled. She could not tell me when it would be rescheduled except that she would have to wait for someone else to cancel their appointment. When I tried to ask her to pass a message to the PA, that Medicare would not cover the prescription for my meds., she told me that I would have to take care of that myself and talk to the insurance company. I had never heard of such a thing, and when I pressed her she began yelling at me and hung up. I will be seeking services elsewhere.

I was not feeling well and was a little late to the appointment and Dr. Matrisciano REFUSED to see me. Not even offering to reschedule, but DISMISSED me and told me I "wasn't a good fit for him" and told me to go back to my primary care doctor and find a new endocrinologist. Even though the waiting room was EMPTY, no one else was there, but Heaven forbid I was a little late so I got KICKED OUT. And I had been waiting for a MONTH to get an appointment. If the Doctor had been running behind, I would have waited for hours in the waiting room, but if I'm a little late.... then I get REFUSED SERVICE. I was balling crying in the office when they told me and the staff didn't seem to care. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR. He clearly doesn't care about his patients at all.

You can't speak to the staff by phone or email. You wait for them to call you back which may or may not happen. I'm not confident in the medical treatment I've received.

VERY poor office and nursing personnel, next to impossible to talk to anyone besides answering service, even during the workday (especially during their lunch break; you'd think they'd at least have someone to take messages!); personnel do not return phone calls promptly or at all :(

Dr Matrisciano is thorough, professional, and knowledgeable. An excellent diagnostician, in my opinion. His Physician Assistant is good as well. I don't usually like PAs, figure they are a waste of time, but this provider is helpful and informative . As a general rule, the rest of Dr Mat's staff is incompetent, inconsiderate, and/or often rude. When he issues an order for bloodwork or medical scans, to be scheduled by his staff, a followup call from me is usually (yes, usually!) required to get them moving. When I don't hear from them after waiting a week or two, I call to see what is going on, and always get voice mail. I have to leave messages at least twice before I hear from anyone. They have ordered scans from the wrong facility (when the doctor specified which to use), failed to order pre-treatment if IV dye will be used (I have a severe allergy). They are just generally incompetent. He has recently moved from a group setting to his own office. I am hoping that now, without… multiple partners, he will have more control over his staff and will be able to hire and fire as he pleases.

Doctor and Staff very unprofessional...very depressing office. Doctor seems like he's not knowledgeable about what he is doing.... Had to seek else where with a better Doctor and staff. Wouldn't recommend but that's my opinion.

I have only had one visit with Dr M, but had a bad impression right away about his staff. Since the visit they have not returned my calls regarding a prescription authorization that is almost 2 weeks old! Both phone numbers I have are unsuccessful, either get the voicemail or dead air. The only time I talked to anyone they mentioned that they were still working on the authorization and would call back. That was a week ago. I feel sorry for people who have to go to his office on regular basis.
