Dr. Justin Wayne Miller, MD

I definitely recommend Dr Miller for spinal care. He has helped me with two separate neck fusions, one eleven years ago and one this past spring. He listened to my concerns and was very compassionate. I chose to go back to him the second time because he took such good care of my problem the first time. I knew he would again, and he did! I'm feeling great thanks to Dr. Miller!! There was no waiting months to get in to see him and his office staff in Danville was top rate. Thank you Dr. Miller.

Dr Miller is awesome and his staff is remarkable. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything that was going on with my neck and nerves. He did not push surgery. He explained the pros and what to watch for if I opted to not have surgery. I chose to wait several months and he followed up with me to check how it was going. When I decided it was time, he was supportive and got me scheduled. Surgery went quite well, very little pain after. At my 4 month follow up I had made more progress than expected. I am pain free and highly satisfied. I highly recommend Dr. Miller.

I was treated Dr. Miller for severe neck and arm pain along with loss of strength. Dr. Miller took great care and diagnosing the underlying problem and laying out a treatment plan which included surgery. I am thrilled to say that I’m 95% improved and still improving just four months out of surgery. I’m thankful for Dr. Miller’s knowledge and skill to resolve the issue in a timely matter and successfully. I don’t even know where to begin—Dr. Justin Wayne Miller truly changed my life forever. In December of 2023, I rolled over in bed and felt excruciating pain. I had never had back pain before, and suddenly my life became constant suffering. I went through pain management, injections, ablations—nothing helped. I was terrified of surgery and had never had any procedure before, so the thought of spinal surgery was overwhelming. For two years, I lived in severe sciatic and back pain that ran down both legs. I began losing feeling from my waist down if I stood, sat, or walked too long. I work full-time, and as a mother, wife, and grandmother—the one who holds everything together—I was barely making it. My quality of life was at zero. The pain controlled every moment of my life, and I was honestly starting to give up. I knew surgery was my only hope, even though I was terrified, then when I finally got the courage to seek help from a surgeon , I was turned down by multiple surgeons because… of my weight. This was devastating. Then I was referred to Dr. Miller—and that referral was one of the greatest blessings of my life. From the moment I met him, everything changed. He looked at me and said, “I can help you.” That was the first real hope I had in two years. He took the time to explain the procedure in great detail, he answered every question, and showed such true compassion. His staff was just as amazing—kind, efficient, and incredibly supportive through the entire process. He scheduled my L4-L5 fusion surgery almost immediately, and it truly was life-changing. I have not had sciatic back and leg pain since that day October 29, 2025. Dr. Miller and his team were the light at the end of my darkest tunnel.  When I had lost hope, they gave me my life back. I have never met a more talented, compassionate, and dedicated doctor. I would recommend Dr. Miller and his team to anyone out there who has suffered like I have, who is afraid of spinal surgery. It was the best choice I have ever made in my life. There truly are angels among us—and Dr. Justin Wayne Miller is one of them. I will be forever grateful. I had a great experience with Dr. Miller and his team. My surgery was without complications and am I am pain free in my neck for the first time in years. They were thorough and checked up on me during the recovery process. I definitely recommend Dr. Miller for treatment for neck/back pain.

I'm writing this review to encourage others who are having back/spine issues that are impacting their quality of life to 1) seek out care, and 2) to understand they can trust Dr Miller and his team for that care. I like other reviewers had back issues that caused pain that significantly impacted my quality of life over a period of years. I had received some care at other practices, but the solutions being provided/recommended at those other practices were not lasting, were providing lessening results and there didn't seem to be a plan beyond rinse/repeat. I sought out Indiana Spine at the recommendation of someone I trusted, and specifically met with Dr Miller and undertook his process. From the beginning, Dr Miller was up front about his process and methods and we followed that plan. Ultimately this entailed major surgical intervention to be successful (which equated to restoring my quality of life and significant reduction in pain). Dr Miller and team took the time to answer… questions honestly, and provide information I needed along the way to make the hard decisions. The care Dr Miller and team provided before, during and after surgery were exceptional in today's world. (I wish it was the standard). None of this was easy, however, having Dr Miller and his team as trusted resources and the care they provided made it easier. I definitely recommend Dr Miller and team if you are looking to do what is necessary to overcome your spine issues and get your quality of life back.

I am writing to share my sincere gratitude for Dr. Justin Miller and his entire team at the Indiana Spine Group. The care I received before, during, and after my surgery was truly exceptional. Before meeting Dr. Miller, I was experiencing debilitating pain that dramatically impact with my daily life. I often didn’t know from day-to-day, whether I would be able to walk. I had to cancel plans, step back from my physical and socially active lifestyle, and live with constant uncertainty and discomfort. I am now four months post surgery, and the transformation has been remarkable. I’m back to walking 5 miles or more a day, living without pain I haven’t missed a single event or activity due to physical limitations for months now getting the surgery was one of the best decisions I ever made.
