I was referred by my primary Dr. Ward and now after my visit, I understand. I saw his assistant and she was as concerned as Doc was, they actually listened to me about my situation and gave me a choice of what I could do instead of rushing me into surgery for the money, I was treated like a person and not a Number! The receptionist was just as outstanding! Kudos to everyone !

Dr. Monroe does no work, he pushes all his work on his assistants even though they're not the ones who went to medical school. When I schedule an appointment with a doctor I want to be seen by the DOCTOR not his assistant(s). The icing on the cake is that he is discriminatory towards patients of color. His front office staff are his biggest fans but just as biased and ignorant

dr monroe did my colon surgery and i promise you that was the third major surgerys in my life and the one he done had me feeling the best and after surgery i had the least amount of pain and best recovery.i drove all the way back to memphis a month later just to tell him thank and left him a thank you card.

Dr. Monroe from my first visit, call to verify information on a CT scan , prior to and after my surgery. Daily visit to my hospital room always being upbeat and informative. Dr. Monroe is a very thorough doctor who truly cares about his patients. Best surgent ever!

Me .Monroe is a God send to humans! He has a honest face and soul! I’m a child of God and I’m his patient for 2 yrs n I cud haven’t gotten a better Doctor than he! Love you Dr. Monroe

11 years ago I did not have any insurance at my job. I met Dr. Monroe through the Church Health Services program. He treated me like a VIP patient. We had some questions on exactly where this tumor was in my colon. He was straight forward, pros and cons. Everything went well and I heard through the grapevine he was the best. He checked on me twice a day when I was in the hospital. I call his number every year and leave a thank you message. He was not only a professional doctor he was a person who cared.

I absolutely love Dr. Monroe. He takes patient care very seriously, and he answers questions with honesty and patience. He performed colorectal surgery on me, and I received excellent care from him. Would definitely recommend him to others.

Dr. Monroe is the best surgeon that I have been to in many a year. He gives you the attention that you need, and seems to care about you. I would recommend him to anyone.
