DR. PLATZER WAS VERY NICE AND CHECKED MY BODY FOR ANY SIGNS OF SHIN CANCER. I WAS VERY LUCKY TO ONLY HAVE SOME PRE-CANCER SPOTS ON MY FACE FROM SUN DAMAGE. I WILL BE BACK IN A YEAR FOR ANOTHER CHECK UP. I RECCOMEND DR. PLATZER . MARY

saw a PA, excellent

in 2017 visited waters edge re painful growth below hairline on right side of neck. biopsy indicated squamous type cancer to be removed by MOHS surgery. procedure was painless and required field of removal to be enlarged. upon final removal of residue cancer, area was stitched and bandaged. returned approx. 2 weeks later for stitches to be removed. healed shortly thereafter with little sign of the surgery process. Platzer was professional and proficient. no negative comments as went well as expected. visited him at their Wellington office.

While waiting I sat on the chair. When Dr. Platzer came in he went right to the nurse and merely looked at me and looked away. With a smile I warmly said: you don't recognize me, he looked at me and shrugged me off with the attitude that he couldn't care less if he did or didn't. He use to be very kind, compassionate, and a genuinely caring doctor to his patient who was a person not a dollar sign. He was humble and now is arrogant to the greatest degree! I tried to describe my intensely, intolerable skin condition. He showed no concern and kept talking to the nurse not me. He is a doctor and never asked once me to step onto the patient's "bed" in order to examine me. He was rushing! I asked him to come over and look. He did a quick peek and gave it a name that I had never heard of and without reason. I wasn't permitted to ask him to explain why it couldn't be the other two skin conditions. My skin condition is so severely intense that it feels almost unbearable which is why I needed… the doctor to tell me what was happpening to it. He opened the door and said something about him being the one who knows what he's doing because he's the one who studied it and I was to acknowledge that. I was stunned and told him I wasn't thinking that. I got up and opened the door asking for him but was told he left for the day. With all his rushing, arrogance and uncaring attitude he didn't look at the 2nd reason I made the appointment which was the small unusual rash on my face of concern! When I got to the door after the nurse called my name in the waiting room shghe asked me why I was there. I told her there's a small rash on my face and I described a different area which was intolerable. She failed to tell the doctor about my small face rash! I will not go back to Water's Edge Dermatology.

Called my head to toe flea bites "insect bites" and downplayed it. I told him even 2 vets said they were but he said didnt look lime a typical flea bite!. Since I'm interested in my body I looked it up online and it is a totally a clinical typical picture of what flea bites look like he didn't want to commit and say it hundred percent all he could say was they were insect bites really minimize and made me feel awful when I left

Dr. Platzer is a thorough, efficient, personable practitioner. His practice runs well and he is remarkably on time for such a busy practice. He is compassionate and takes the time to understand your concerns. I would refer my friends to him knowing that they would be happy with the experience.

Dr. Platzer and his staff are very knowledgeable and friendly, you can make appointments usually within the same week, not months like other offices. I highly recommend Water's Edge Dermatology!!!
