Dr. Justin Scott, DDS

Falsely advertised he accepted my insurance and overcharged me. Tried to avoid responsibility but eventually agreed to give credit. Overcharged me again not applying credit. Told my wife and I we needed work done that we actually did not. Tried to charge me again when insurance would not pay because work was not necessary. Went to another dentist and confirmed work was not necessary. Ignored my response email about still having credit after emailing me another bill and sent my account to collections. Falsely advertises, tries to avoid responsibility when caught, recommends unnecessary work, refuses to communicate regarding issues. Unethical!

It is so apparent that Pure Dental Health and Dr. Scott are more concerned about getting paid than providing quality, affordable dental care. I was a patient for about three years and endured some financial hardship, was on a payment plan, missed one payment and they refused medical care. I have brackets on my teeth and they refused to even remove them unless they received a $600 payment. I was thirty days past due and met with Dr. Scott to inform him of my situation and he refused to provide six-months-braces adjustments or remove the braces as well as cleanings, which are covered by my insurance. Tori, Victoria, his assistant, informed me of Dr. Scotts' intentions as well as Dr. Scott. I was in their office at least once every six months for about three years. I had always paid them at the time of service in the past. They refused to file with the insurance company and fix the broken tooth caused by the braces adjustment, which is an apparent error. Dr. Scott refused to… fix a broken tooth caused by the braces installed improperly. I have before and after pictures from every visit to confirm treatment results. Fortunately, I am a very concerned about the care of my teeth and I wasn't fearful of going to the dentist before going to a Pure Dental Health office. I have been a patient of Pure Dental Health for a while so I am certain it is unreasonable for them to refuse my dental care because of a missed $350 payment. I find it very unintelligent of Dr. Scott that he wouldn't provide a solution to the problem they created for me. I am very disappointed in the Pure Dental Health staff and Dr. Scott as a medical provider. The broken tooth is very painful and I expressed that to Dr. Scott and his staff. I have never had a dental experience so bad, as with Pure Dental Health providers. I would not recommend them as a quality, affordable provider to anyone.

I followed Dr. Scott over to his new location on peachtree in buckhead. Amazing dentist. Very kind and not to bad to look at either!
