Dr Somerville is hands down one of the most skilled, kind and caring Physicians I have had care from (or my family). He performed a Sigmoidectomy on me - from prep to post surgery he kept in touch with me, explained surgery and expected outcome. Nurses, Anesthesia, floor nurses all raved at his exceptional care for his patients. I highly recommend him.

Superb! I had colon cancer and he removed every bit of it, including removing more than enough lymph nodes. I'm very happy with this doctor.

Very compassionate and caring demeanor, mostly good communication but may need to be pressed for clarity, explains thoroughly when questioned â??Â we had what seemed to be a "changing story" but he returned our calls personally, everything was clear in the end, and he did not do more than necessary. Can seem rushed and a little scattered at times, but handled exams, diagnosis, outpatient surgery, and followups well. We are confident that we received good care from Dr Somerville.
