If you're looking for a physician who is truly interested in your well-being, takes the time to listen to you and is very thorough, then this is the right choice for you. He is kind, thoughtful, caring and makes you feel very comfortable. He is smart, articulates well and doesn't talk down to you. A few staff members could be a little nicer, but they do their job. The only negative, he has become so well liked and in demand, that now it isn't as easy to make an appointment. If you need a physician, don't wait to book an appt. Do it now.

inaccurate follow up

Dr. Striblen saved my life! I had severe cardio myopathy but had no symptoms. During a routine exam to refill a perscription he decided to do an ekg, He discovered something he did not like and sent me to a cardiologist. I ended up having a defibrilator and pacemaker inserted, without these I would not be alive today:) GreaT Man!

I waited 8 days for an appointment, but when I saw the doctor, I was very satisfied. He wanted me scheduled for a C-T of the chest, because the emergency room X-ray had revealed 2 nodules on my lung. The front office staff was supposed to get the pre-certification and schedule me for the test. After anxiously waiting for their call for 6 days, I phoned to request the status of my pre-authorization. I was sent to voicemail (several times). I then called my insurance company to request the status of the pre-authorization request. Their representative told me that they had NOT been contacted by the doctors office yet! I faxed them a copy of the emergency room X-ray report, and they IMMEDIATELY approved the request for the C-T scan. I AGAIN tried to reach the person at the doctors office responsible for pre-authorizations to tell her it was approved, and AGAIN got sent to voice mail. I drove to the office to notify them, in person, of the pre-authorization and to request the doctor's… order required by the radiology facility. I was told that "I couldn't POSSIBLY have gotten the pre-authorization" and they REFUSED to give me a copy of the doctors order for the test. I was told that I would be called the following day (today), after she had checked with the insurance company. It is now 3:30 PM, and I STILL have not received a call.I fear that I will have to schedule an appointment with a different physician in order to FINALLY get this test done.
