THE MOST UNORGANIZED RECORDS DEPARTMENT I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. ASKED FOR RECORDS TO BE TRANSFERRED AND IT HAS BEEN THREE AND A HALF WEEKS AND MY RECORDS ARE STILL NOT AT NEW DOCTORS OFFICE. THEY WON'T CALL POST OFFICE TO FIND OUT WHERE THEY ARE, SAID IT WOULD TAKE TOO MUCH TIME!!!! SAID THEY ARE 3 WEEKS BEHIND!!!! TRY GETTING MORE HELP

First, let me say that I have been to about 50 doctors in my lifetime (Including Harvard Medical, Harborview Trauma, Cedars Sinai) and this is the nicest and most knowledgeable doctor I have ever encountered. Originally, my Mother had been sent to him for a spike in her blood results. Not only was he the nicest person, he explained everything in extreme detail, and would not leave the office until she was comfortable and understood everything. I can not tell you how important that is for a worried Son. Because of my job, I have been injured many times over the years and have been to many doctors and many hospitals. Dr. Thomas is the best I have ever experienced. Not only can he run detailed blood tests and tell you everything going on in your body, he will take the time to explain it, and leave his door open for questions. Once, I even phoned in a prescription, thinking I was just going to have to explain my situation to a nurse and try to get them to understand my needs, and she… transferred me directly to him to verify everything personally. I have had some questionable care and several Bad experiences with nurses and doctors, when it comes to my aging Mother at St. Pete's over the years. Dr. Thomas knows his stuff and is priceless, especially if you have life threatening concerns and/or want the best care and treatment for a loved one. It would do other doctors and nurses good to learn from this man's example.
