We saw Dr. Justine Lee at UCLA's Pediatric Plastic Surgery department for our newborn's slightly misshapen ears. As new parents, we were very concerned, and Dr. Lee reassured us and told us that his ears were a borderline case for the Ear Wells procedure (that is, the procedure could help reshape his ears, but if we opted against the procedure, his ears would likely not get any worse). In the end, we opted against the procedure, and our son's ears look fine now. We really appreciate that Dr. Lee did not pressure us in any way, but rather gave her assessment and let us decide. Her assistant Italia was also very patient and clear in explaining how the insurance would work.
