Dr. Jyothi Narayanan Nair

My passion for medicine stemmed from my love of helping others. I chose pediatrics due to my deep love for children. Witnessing the precious moments in my patient's families, and receiving hugs from the little ones, brings unparalleled joy to my day. \n In pediatrics, we focus a lot on preventive healthcare. I strive to empower my patient families with the knowledge they need to raise healthy, happy children. I encourage questions and prioritize being an active listener. \n As an active participant in my field, I am a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the North Carolina Pediatric Society. \n Outside of the office, you might find me engaging in activities such as yoga, dancing and walking my dog. I'm a mother to two college-aged sons and love spending time with them, friends and the rest of my family.
