Dr. Jyotsana Singh, MD

I must state initially that I was “given” a new physician when my doctor of many years left the practice. Dr Singh had reviewed my records from a recent (7 days previous) ER visit prior to my appointment with her. She was familiar with all testing and ER doctor’s conclusions. She recommended a change in medication and also one additional blood test to rule out another reason for elevated BP. She also suggested other recommendations for my health. She listened to me and I felt quite comfortable with her care. It is difficult to gain rapport with a new physician after having same one for years, but I believe I can trust in her care for me.

Dr. Singh gets a poor rating by me. She prescribed the wrong medicine for my health issue. She prescribed constipation medicine instead of medicine for UTI, good thing I didn't take it. I called to make an appointment to see her on a Thursday and I had almost the entire day on the following Friday to choose a time I could come in. Have noticed not many patients in room too. I gave blood on that Friday also and she never called me on the result, as she promised. I will change doctors.
