Dr. K Burnell Schaetzel-Hill, DO

Doctors are NOT my favorite people - rate right alongside lawyers, politicians, surgeons, pharmaceutical companies and such. BUT - this man and his amazing staff have changed my attitude. I'm so fortunate to be a patient. So if you need a doctor in Olympia, go there!!!!

Dr Schaetzel-Hill is a caring person who takes his time with you. The one negative thing I have to say about his care is that sometimes I have gone in with a complaint only to hear, "Well, I'll see you back in a week or 2 and see how it's going". I usually don't make an appointment until I've suffered for a week or so in the first place, so how does he think it is miraculously going to go away just because I've come in to see him? The other VERY negative thing I have to say is that his staff is awful! His nurse is a cranky German who puts down American ways every chance she gets, and his receptionist who can be nice sometimes can be very uncaring and lazy at others. It's like pulling teeth with her to do her job and send referrals through. She would be a very good bill collector though!

He is so kind and he really knows his work. My husband was diagnosed with something very serious and he was so kind. He didn't stop until he found what was wrong. We would never go to another Dr.
