Dr. Kaaren Giselle Vargas

Meet Dr. Vargas
Dr. Kaaren Vargas completed her pediatric dental specialty training in 1992 at Eastman Dental Center in Rochester, NY. She moved to Iowa with her husband that same year. She completed a PhD in 1998 and became a full time faculty member at the University of Iowa Department of Pediatric Dentistry. During her 10 years on staff, she directed the program in conscious sedation and taught numerous classes on cosmetic dentistry in children and interceptive orthodontics. She has also lectured extensively both nationally and internationally.
Recently, Dr. Vargas made the decision to move from the academic world into the private practice world.
