Dr. Kadirawel Iswara, MD

Kadirawel Iswara, is unprofessional. He answers his phone while briefly going over the patient’s results, that of which, he doesn’t seem interested in reviewing with his patients. He doesn’t seem interested in asking about how the patient is doing or feeling. Horrible!

I was referred to this doctor for an advanced endoscopic procedure. After waiting over an hour to see him, he only spent 10 minutes with me. After having the procedure which was done at Maimonides hospital, I called the office requesting a copy of My report. I spoke with his office manager who told me she couldn't mail me a copy, but she could fax it to me. I told her I do not have a fax in the house. Also that I never had a problem having the office mail a copy to me. His staff is very unprofessional and they seem to lack empathy for the patients. I have never encountered this behavior in any medical facility.

Dr Iswara operated on my 96 yr old Mom-in-law last week at Maimonides Med Center. He not only did a fantastic job, she was talking and alert after the 2.5 hr surgery. He spoke to my husband and I for 1/2 hr right after the surgery to explain this invention that will give her a better quality of life. Definitely a professional I will recommend! Renee Winnicki

Dr. Iswara is a very knowledgeable, competent, and caring gastroenterologist. He has a calm and confident demeanor and a good sense of humor (which is very helpful right before a colonoscopy). I highly recommend him.

Highly rated Dr.Iswara.outstanding in the field, once you had the fortunate experience of being treated by this doctor you will know that not only are you cured but,you are his patient, not just another medical number. And all your doubts any worries become obsolete!! If founded a GI/ specialist ,this is the one need.
