Dr. Kaihua K Lai, MD

I reluctantly had to change primary doctors because I did not like the group she joined after giving up her private practice, and after researching and seeing that Dr Lai specializes in arthritic conditions, I made an appointment. I chose a primary from Pronger Smith because I have three specialists with their group and all are excellent doctors. I was very impressed by Dr. Lai's courtesy, professionalism and knowledge. He was very thorough in learning about my medical history and ongoing issues. I'm quite comfortable with my decision to have him for my primary physician.

I've never been treated so well by medical staff and my doctor. Also I've never heard anyone complain about getting a quick appointment or a doctor spending little time with them. He spends as much time as it take to treat your condition. He's not there to shoot the breeze with anyone. The next patient has less wait time if he's doing his job. There's a Metro South two blocks from my home, but I'll go 20 miles to keep Dr. Lai.

Love Dr. Lai. He is brillant

My family has been seeing Dr Lai for about 10 years. he practically saved my husbands life 3 years ago in a physical. He was diagnosed with early colon cancer, which was removed. Thank god he is well today. We are happy to have such good doctor.

Very easy to get an appointment which should have raised concern. Doctor spent literally only 4 minutes examining me. That was the FASTEST doctor visit in my entire life and I felt he rushed the appointment and did not do a good job. Pathetic. I received a $300 charge for this 4 minute exam. Ordered every expensive test possible. I believe that this doctor and Pronger Smith is out for a fast buck and I question their professionalism. Feel ripped off and do not recommend this doctor or facility if you are paying for it yourself.
