Terrible abusive experience. Avoid at all costs

This creep tried to trash talk her other patients & solicit a positive review from me in such a creepy way. Offered appts when no one else was in the office. Unsafe

This person should not be practicing medicine. She is very short tempered, yells, gives false information, touches without consent, is arrogant, brags about all of her accomplishments, is egotistical and just an all around bad psychiatrist. She won't collaborate with other mental health professionals because she seems to think that she knows it all and everyone else is below her. When suggesting that her diagnosis might be wrong (according to a couple other doctors) she got very angry and defensive and had some not so nice things to say about them and their opinions. In order to stay on her good side you have to stroke her ago a lot. Anything you say that would even a little bit make her feel like you're questioning her opinion or advice will cause her to lose all composure. I think that expects her patients to feel extremely lucky that she will even talk to them and that she wants people to bow at her presence. She's also loose with the privacy laws. She has talked to and given… information on patients without them signing a consent form and without their permission. I've had conversations with a couple of other people who also had issues with her and we started questioning her past. It seems like it might be questionable. She started practicing medicine at a significantly older age than most people in her profession. Sure, some people do start their career later in life, but when trying to put the pieces of the puzzle together as to why she is the way she is and the fact that she obviously has psychiatric issues of her own, a few of us are thinking that perhaps she spent some of her life as a patient in a psychiatric facility and decided that since she had experienced her own mental illness that maybe she could help others. Maybe that's all far fetched, but she definitely does have some type of psychiatric illness and it's obvious she's not currently getting treated for it, or is on the wrong meds or something. Perhaps when she's on the right meds she is a pleasant and competent psychiatrist, but as it stands now, it seems like she needs to take a break and get some help herself. Sadly though it's rare for a narcissist to seek treatment, but I think in her current mental state she can only cause harm to her patients.

I may never fully recover from all the damage this so called doctor caused me. She seems to have no ethics or morals when it comes to treating patients. She is so arrogant and full of herself, it's sad because it's her patients who suffer. She needs to get off her high horse. She has these anger outbursts and I've never seen a professional behave this way. She seems really unstable herself and should be getting treatment for her severe psychological issues. She really shouldn't be a doctor, she needs serious help. She definitely has narcissistic tendencies and talks about how wonderful she is and how patients are so lucky that they have the privilege of seeing her. It scares me that unstable and vulnerable people are in her care. My experience with her just caused more instability and distrust in medical professionals. She also broke HIPPA by talking on the phone and texting with someone in my life on on the phone about me without my permission. I switched to a more professional and… stable psychiatrist and have improved (got an accurate diagnosis and medications), but I'm still traumatized by my experience with her.

This woman playing at doctor hurt me significantly. She once said she should’ve been an actress because she would’ve made more money with fewer headaches and everyone would love her. She only cares about her appearance as a doctor and maybe should go into theater where she can have all the emotional outbursts she wants without hurting patients. She also said she almost became an anesthesiologist because you just give people drugs, they’re happy and you never have to deal with them again. Her infusion ketamine is basically that- she has no interest in actually helping anyone aside from herself & wants obedient, grateful patients who never question her and stroke her ego. Pass on this fake Botox lipo-filled smile that hides her treacherous true self, which always emerged after some time. She ignored my calls for help & blamed me for getting sick & needing help & threw me away in the middle of covid with no medication and no doctor with long waiting lists everywhere. Unconscionable!

I was hopeful about this doctor. She seemed nice. Then she became distant after a few months. Over time, she kept getting more and more impatient with me, and she convinced me this behavior was my fault because I was "socially inappropriate." One time she told me I was "insightful" for fearing her rejection. But the weird thing is, when I saw another doctor for a second opinion and asked both my current and previous therapist about this, they seemed bewildered by her judgment. They didn't even agree with her diagnosis. I've never been told I was inappropriate by anyone else before. Just that I doubt myself a lot, because I had really bad anxiety. I think that's why it was so easy for her to take advantage and why I ended up staying for so long. Eventually, she broke my privacy. Once, she yelled at me. It's been a couple years now since I stopped seeing her regularly. It's taken time to really recognize how much damage she did, and just how bad her behavior was. I'm a lot better now.… And I think that's because I don't have her as my doctor anymore. I don't think she should be practicing medicine. I think she needs extensive therapy of her own. I look at the other reviews and I'm kicking myself for not speaking out sooner. How many others has she mistreated, who have stayed silent, like I did?

Read a book about your white privilege please! And get some help for your outbursts! She seemed nice at first. Over time she started complaining and making fun of her less fortunate patients (including a homeless black woman), saying how she’s such a great doctor that they are lucky to have her, that she doesn’t even listen to some people’s messages (and laughing about all of this), rolling her eyes & laughing as she returned calls from other patients during my sessions (one woman sounded in such distress & to see Kaila’s coldness, using this woman’s name, was increasingly disturbing.) She’ll give you whatever drugs you want & was conveniently located for awhile for me, but I kept leaving her office feeling gross at the way she talked about other patients, made insensitive/borderline transphobic, classist comments on multiple occasions, and was harder and harder to reach over time. Not sure if she burned out & needs a new job or has always been like this & I didn’t see it at first.

Unprofessional, abusive. Dr Jekyll & mr Hyde. Great when she is & lashes out takes her burnout & anger out on patient when she not. Please get back into therapy kaila

This “doctor” is so full of herself and unprofessional. I seriously wonder how she got into this profession. She is a clock watcher and doesn’t care about her patients at all. The meds she prescribed me completely messed me up.
