Dr. Kain Kumar, MD

He gave up his license and now hes already out of jail and seeing patients at his old Palmdale office and pretending it’s the lady doctor who sees all the patients. The pharmacy knows he is and doesn’t respect the prescriptions called in by the office half the time. He’s not supposed to see patients anymore and he still is and will probably get his license back.

Kumar's medical license was revoked on Sept. 30, 2019. His (your) medical records were seized by the FBI. All he ever did was over prescribe medication to my elderly relative. He and his staff did not have the decency to tell my relative that he would no longer be allowed to practice medicine, which had my family scrambling to find a new doctor for serious medical issues. This man should be in jail.

So releaved to know this dangerous doctor relinquished his license to practice medicine

Dr. Kumar has been my primary physician for over 20 years. I have lived in the Antelope Valley since 1985. Dr. Kumar and his Staff are the finest you will ever encounter. My 91 yr old mom was having issues. Called 911 - also called kumar office as Dr kumar had just increased my mom's prescriptions. Gloria flat out refused to page him said he would be in at 1pm. Called later that day and. Kumar flat out refused to talk to me. Asked for a copy of my moms files. Was told to find another Dr and they could request it. This is how you treat a 91 yr old patient who has been going g to this Dr for 10 years. No thank you - My mom was admitted to A.V. Hospital - changed dr the next day. Don't need her treated like that. Should have changed a lot g time ago!!! Don't walk away - run!!! Would have rated lower than a 1 if I could have.

Dr. Kumar himself is brilliant and very good. The Palmdale staff (Gina, Gloria, Alexis, Sharon etc) need to be replaced yesterday. Bring Brenda back!! I have tried for 1 1/2 weeks to get them to send in the correct prescription for my 90yr old mom who just got out of rehab with shingles. The medication is for her irregular heartbeat and nerve pain from shingles. Instead of correcting what they sent wrong, they will argue with you on the phone. They sent in for a IV Bag solution - my mom is not on IV's!!!! This is my last attempt of correcting this and then I will have to go another way. I have given the staff the phone#'s to call the pharmacy - they haven't done that apparently as I call the pharmacy every morning to see if it has been corrected. The office staff are the only ones who can fax in a prescription. At this point I dont care who did what - FIX IT!!! I have 3 full pages documented at this time. 1 1/2 weeks having to deal with nerve pain (in her head) because these… IDIOTS dont know how to do their job!!!! I agree with the other review, very rude staff, hang up or keep you on eternal hold, dont relay messages to Dr. Kumar etc. etc.

This "doctor" and his staff are the worst I have ever encountered in my almost 60 years of life. Lets start with the office staff, impossible to even get through to the office over the phone, phone service would not work for several hours on random days, would get hung up on by office staff after being on hold for over 20 minutes. Would be promised a call back which was never received. There is no option to leave a voicemail message. Had to work harder than ever to get them to complete my disability paperwork which my livelihood (mortgage, bills, food) depended on. Was then charged money to complete this paperwork which I've never heard of in my life at any other medical office. Now, lets move on to review the doctor. Doctor prescribed me expensive medications which turns out I did not even need. After receiving a free trial of this expensive medication and telling them I could no longer afford, the staff suggested my caregiver use HER insurance to get it for me, how shady is that?? I… started receiving ointments and medications via mail which I never signed up for either. For some reason even though Kumar was the doctor I would see, my disability paperwork was completed by a Dr. Martinez which I've never even met, why is this? Does Kumar even have a license to practice anymore? After suffering through all this I google to find out he has done very many shady things, so I would not be surprised if he was no longer allowed to practice and I really don't think he should be. Avoid this doctor at all costs.

Dr. Kumar has been good to my family and myself. He has been our Dr for the last 13 yrs. Brenda which is his nurse is great! His staff there are HORRIBLE!!! They have NO RESPECT!! Gina, who is dr Kumar's so call nurse has a mouth on her. She yelled at my daughter and Cursed her out and wanted to fight with her in the parking lot! Mind you my daughter is only 24 yrs old, like Really, Gina is a grown lady! I need to call Business bureau and let them know of her behavior. My daughter is also a nurse, if she behaved the way Gina did she would have gotten fired! Dr Kumar needs to FIRE GINA! I also had a small Confrontation with them as will but was able to resolve the problem. Dr Kumar you need a whole new staff that shows respect, that are caring and are decent human beings!!. Dr Kumar your patients should be #1, if your staff act's a fool, FIRE them or please give me the okay to fire Gina!!! She is one evil person and should not be working in your office!!! Dr Kain Kumar(Dr Death or Dr Misdiagnosed) is a SORRY excuse for a Doctor. Dr Kumar doesn't care if your loved one is very sick he still will discharge them with an infection and they will end right back up in the hospital. If he would have listened to me and did what I suggested my Papa wouldn't be on Life Support. Thank God when they had to call an ambulance the paramedics accidentally took him to Antelope Valley Hospital I told the nurses at Ellison John that my Papa needed to go back to the hospital they said no the Dr said raise his steroids and change his antibiotic. The day after I told them he needed to go back to the hospital they said they were calling an ambulance because my Papa was UNRESPONSIVE, and his core temperature was at 89. IF YOU LOVE YOUR FAMILY PLEASE DON'T ALLOW DR KAIN KUMAR TO CARE FOR THEM.
