Dr. Kalan N Bobbitt

She has been my Doctor for many years, I’ve come a long way since that first visit! I think I made Dr. Bobbitt nervous, actually the whole group at first! I was really sick! My white count was really high, finally after several years got a normal white count! I had a lot going on. Thanks to Dr. Bobbitt I’m finally doing much better! I’m slowly working up towards 100% .

Dr. Bobbitt has always given me the time I needed with professionalism and great care. Once I came in with a fever I didn't realize I had, and she strongly advised that I go to the E.R., where after more tests, I was directly admitted to the hospital with Sepsis! The staff at the front desk are wonderful, and actually everyone else is, too! I truly found a gem with Dr. Bobbitt!

I have been seeing Dr. Bobbitt for about 1 year now. She promotes yearly well-checks which consists of doing a metabolic blood panel. She does ask you to come in to go over the results, but that doesn't bother me. She is very thorough with any complaint I have presented, and makes appropriate and good referrals, when the complaint is outside of her area of expertise (I've had other family doctors in the past just try to throw medicines at an issue that really needed to be evaluated by a specialist). She is typically on time and appointments are generally quick, however, if I let her know that I have more questions about things not related to the primary focus of the appointment, she always takes the time to listen and talk through my concerns. She has never made me feel rushed or that I couldn't ask more questions. I do wish she would do some more "relationship-building", by asking follow up questions at subsequent appointments on issues we've talked about in the past. The only other… complaint I have is mostly about a couple of the other doctors in the practice. I did not have good experiences with a couple of the male doctors there when I had to schedule on short notice, so in the future I will not be willing to see anyone other than Dr. Bobbitt.

Very impressed with the location, ambiance of the office, and staff professionalism. I arrived for my appointment on time and was seen on time. I was in and out in less than 45 minutes (which can be the wait time at other Doc offices). Professionalism with every interaction. Dr. Bobbitt was great: made me feel very comfortable and got down to business. As a busy professional it was nice that my time was treated as valuable - so glad to have found this practice!

Front office for this practice has lots to learn. There is no willingness to provide customer service and perhaps go just a little beyond when asked. End of story. I'm now looking to move to another practice... Dr. bobbitt so far has been good. However I'm still waiting to get results from my last physical 3 myths ago. I take my mom to her as well. Yet it's difficult for me to get an appointment in a day I'm off from work (which is Fridays) to get my test results. Yet routine spots are available. When I took my mom to see her I expressed to the nurse the possibility of changing doctors because I just can't get in to see Dr. Bobbit. Nurse must of told Dr because in the hallway as I was leaving, Dr Bobbit then tells me that I do need to get in because my pap was a little abnormal, but that it was not urgent. Well as a cancer survivor you don't tell someone not to worry. Then on top of that front office would not work with me. To top it all, on a day I was able to get morning off from… work and go into work later, I called in the morning to see if there were any cancellation, they said there was one at 1140a and I said great I'll take it.. Then as I'm talking to the receptionist about when dr. Bobbitt goes to lunch because I need to be at work at 1p. She then informs me oh sorry that appointment has been taken already and offered one at 210p and 410p. I then said I'll take the 410p but it may be did cult if I don't get off early from work. Then she tells me oh sorry the 410p has been taken also, you have a 210p. I kindly asked would you please see if perhaps that other person has more flexibility and is able to take the 210p appointment. Reply was no we don't do that. When as to speak with office manager, the response was -rude- "so you want me to call a patient and say we're changing your appointment?" I said no, it's all how you communicate things. You're able to say when we booked your appointment someone else was also trying to book same time, and we're just asking as a courtesy, if you're able to come in at 210p, if you're not its okay, we're just trying to help our patients. Unfortunately true customer centric practices are a time of year pass, all the practices want now is for one to come in so as to be able to bill insurance. And since Obamacare has really done a number for the worst, practices are focusing only on the billable not the customers service. It's like cattle calls in these mega doctors offices now a days.

I have never in m life gone to a doctor that had no interest in m well being. In the 4 visits that I had with Dr Bobbitt she had no interest in listening to me or giving me an advice other than offering me more medication that was not necessary. She made me come back in to her office for my lab results that were fine in which I had to take the additional time off of work and pay an additional co-pay instead of just calling in m prescription. She refused to refill my next prescription when I said that I could not make another follow up appointment within the month when m test results were once again good and did not need a follow up visit. I have reported her to my insurance company for abusing the visit follow up when it was completely unnecessary.

My experience with Dr. Bobbitt, in all 3 appointments I had with her, were all about how she could bill me more and make me come in for more appointments. Not very knowledgable or helpful. Pass on this one!

Dr. Kalan Bobbit is an excellent doctor. Having been an RN for 16 yrs, I know the difference between a good doctor and a bad one. I am not easily impressed but she impressed me. After changing jobs in 2010, I needed a doctor closer to my home. It was not as easy as you'd think for me to find someone I was comfortable with. Then on the advice of the other nurses that I work with at Texas Oncology, I went to Dr. Bobbit. She is extremely competent, knowledgeable and professional. I was very relieved to feel that I was finally in good hands. She takes very good care of me. I also love her P.A., Allison. I have never had a bad experience with her or the practice. The wait time is minimal and the staff is very friendly. I highly recommend Dr. Bobbit.

She is so unexperienced doctor and usually they make you wait for around 30 minutes but if you are late for the appointment for even 5 or 10 min they will reschedule your appointment, showing they are so busy. So unprofessional and at the time of appointment if you ask for any other lady doctor they will they Dr. Bobbit is the only female doctor there. Though many of my friends told there are other female doctors better than her. I guess she is trying to pull patients but at the same time showing she is so busy to handle even one case properly. Worst experience :(
