Kali Rimington, PA-C, is committed to creating an environment where patients can be honest and vulnerable.
"I love forming relationships with my patients, being there for them during difficult times and celebrating their milestones with them," said Rimington, who specializes in internal medicine at Methodist Physicians Clinic. "My favorite moments are after I've helped a patient create a plan for their specific health condition, and then at follow-up visits I get to see how excited they are about the progress they've made and will continue to make."
Rimington enjoys her role as an internist because of the variety of patients she sees. She especially enjoys women's health and geriatric medicine, and she said she has "a passion for helping others manage their diabetes."
She said she's proud to be part of Methodist, an organization that strives to live out The Meaning of Care.
"The Meaning of Care means treating everyone with honesty and respect, whether they're a coworker or a patient," …she said.
Outside of the clinic, Rimington enjoys running, lifting weights, cooking and completing home renovation projects.
