Excellent doctor. I met with all the top cerebellopontine angle tumor surgeons in the NY area. I found him to be the best in the meetings, and after selecting him to perform the surgery, the result was much better than what any of the doctors (6 of top NY brain/head surgeons) I had met told me I should expect.

Dr. Post is extraordinary in his ability to communicate and surgery skills. He's also a compassionate doctor. In his specialty, there is no one better!

saw years ago had 5 radiologists follow up same day but they could not decide if tumors in spine or post polio syndrome. very thorough exam. Very impressed with Dr however could not solve husbans problem. Would have returned if lived in NY area.

If it was not for Dr. Post's expertise I would still be living a miserable life and a slave to medication. Dr. Post is quite possibly the most humble , caring and not to mention brilliant doctors I've ever met. I had a pituitary tumor removed three weeks ago very successfully by Dr. Post. It has only been three weeks and I really feel like my life is back. Don't have any hesitations about Mr. Post HE IS THE BEST!!

If it wasn't for Dr. Post doing a third surgery on me in 2003, I wouldn't be here writing this. He saved my life.

Dr Post came into my life in a time where illness struck me quite out of no where. i was only 16 years young and had gone through 2 weeks of countless doctors, scary check ups and endless amounts of fancy medical jargon that made no sense to me, When i saw Dr Post i was...well, i was a wreck, He spoke to me like a person, not a thing. Used language that made sense to me and took the time to explain anything my parents and i were confused about. I distinctly remember him saying to me " well if you were my daughter, this is what i would do"...that was all i needed to hear. We left the office that day and i told my mother there would be no more opinions, no more consults, we were staying with him and that was that. this was 11 years ago, and monthly appointments turned into tri-monthly ones, which turned into half year mark appointments, which finally turned into " ill see you next year!" I am healthy, happy and at ease and i have Dr post to thank for that.

Dr.Post is a lovely man who is also highly skilled, experienced and knowledgable. It is rare to find a surgeon who possesses a combination of extreme skill and understanding, is tops in his field but at the same time, compassionate, friendly, and personable. He exudes confidence without having an inflated ego . I trust his judgement implicitly. He is the "go to guy" for pituitary adenomas and successfully removed my husband's pituitary adenoma in the 1980's . Additionally he has followed me for several years for a meningioma without once recommending surgery because at this point the tumor is reportedly small and is causing no ill effects, thank G-d. He does not cut for the sake of cutting. I have found his judgement responsible.

I had a 1.2cm tumor on my pituitary gland. I actually went to Dr. Post for my second opinion. My husband and I immediately felt comfortable with Dr. Post. You could tell he was experienced and knowledgeable in the pituitary gland. If you have this issue, he is your doctor. He spent a lot of time answering my questions, making me comfortable that my tumor was not the end of my life. Within a few weeks, I had my tumor removed by Dr. Post. What a compassionate man, he cares....His medical team is wonderful. I felt so at ease. It is 4 days after my surgery and I feel great not a 100% but definitely better than I expected. His right hand person Jane is amazing. I feel grateful to have met Dr. Post. What a great doctor!!

I was diagnosed with a rare illness called Cushing's Disease and had to get a micro tumor removed from my pituitary (right in middle of your forehead). I was beside myself in fear and didn't know who or where to go to. After searching, I found that Dr. Post is an expert and specializes in pituitary tumors. He was informative, kind, and I came out of my surgery successfully. His right hand, Dr. Jane is also great. But what sucked was Mt Sinai Hospital and post care was not as good as it should have been. When I needed prescriptions, they constantly mailed it to the wrong address and wasn't prompt with them. This resulted in being in pain when I didn't need to be. So thumbs up for Dr. Post and Jane, and thumbs down for post care and Mt Sinai Hospital.

Dr. Post performed my second L4-L5 foot drop surgery; 15 years before, I had a prior relatively successful L4-L5 foot drop surgery. Dr. Post was receptive and compassionate. The surgical outcome was very good. The Mt. Sinai Hospital medical personnel were excellent. After my surgery, as a physician, I have referred him several patients; his judgement has always been on the mark.
