The foundation of my practice lies in education and empathy. It is important to me that my patients understand their conditions, in addition to the challenges involved in the care necessary to treat them. With information, my hope is that my patients feel confident in taking control of their health. I take the time to first listen and then answer questions. I care very much about the overall experience of my patients. The time they spend with me is merely a portion of the entire care process. Interactions with healthcare staff and front desk staff, wait times, and answering their questions are all a vital part of the superior quality care that I aim to provide.

I had a really good experience with this dept. oral surgery and I already have started telling others that MedStar Wash. Hosp. Center is nothing "but the truth!!!"

I met her once, this was after my wisdom tooth extraction and I had a reaction that needs to be evaluated. As she was the head of the department, she came in with three other dentists to check my mouth, whom all three were very condescending but this dentist was more than condescending and treated me with no considerations in term of human dignity. She refused to listen to my reason for the visit instead going by the reason why I had my wisdom teeth extracted, which I had done twice at this hospital in DC that she worked. According to one of the dentists that was in attendance told me that her and other dentists think I may have oral/throat cancer and would like to do a tissue strip test and wanted to do it right away but opted out.
