Dr. Kalpesh Patel, MD

I would leave a minus 3 stars if possible, first of all we ended up seeing this doctor because my wife was referred from Kingwood Medical for an ERCP, the doctor cited us (my wife) for 1:00pm and he showed 3 hours later walking into the room with a high arrogance like he is the big deal, and then after "trying" to remove a big stone stuck in the biliary duct he sent one of his assistants to let me know that they try as much as possible to remove it and after 40 minutes they give up and wants me to come back in 3 month to keep trying...I refused to leave not until my wife get the proper treatment and finally after being in the hospital for 4 days and 5 "attempts" finally we got a real doctor that invested 2.5 hours and broke the stone in smaller fragments to be removed in the next visit . all of this attitude from doctor Patel made me upset and created a big discussion with the new doctor since I got really frustrated and I start attacking the whole staff just because the arrogance of… Patel, I told the new doctor that they think that they are gods and nobody can question their behavior, as up until now he have not had the decency to come and tell me what was wrong with my wife, he instead sent an assistant. Do yourself a favor an better yet look for a real doctor and save a lot of headaches.

Dr Patel is a wonderful dr. He has a wonderful bedside manner. Is very informative, he explains everything and takes the time to spend with a patient. He is a very caring Dr. He does his best to diagnose and treat the problems you are having. I would recommend him to anyone!!
