Dr. Kalpit Shah grew up in the northwest suburbs of Chicago and completed his undergraduate studies at University of Illinois at Chicago and graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in the top tier of his class. Upon graduation, he was inducted into the OKU national dental honor society. After graduation, Dr.Shah decided to move back to his hometown and currently resides in the northwest suburbs.
During his time in New York, he met his better half Dr. Lucy Patel. After the wedding, Dr.Lucy Patel has joined the team here at Round Lake Family Dentistry
Dr. Shah continues to take part in numerous continuing education courses to keep up to date with the current research and new advances in dentistry to provide the best possible care to his patients.
Aside from practicing dentistry, Dr.Shah takes great pride in providing pro-bono dental services to the underserved and has participated in numerous outreach programs during his time in New York to increase awareness of oral …health care and early prevention in kids%u2019 care.
Dr. Shah believes strongly in giving back to the community and is in the process of working with his fellow colleagues to start an annual international outreach program that provides free dental care in areas of the world where oral health care is scarce.
