Horrible, unprofessional

Highly unprofessional experience. During our first session, this psychiatrist took our virtual call while laying down on his couch. Provided no greeting, failed to review my intake history, and seemed more concerned with insurance details than patient care. When I missed our second appointment due to a car accident, I was charged a $100 no-show fee within 6 hours—without any inquiry about my wellbeing or the reason for my absence. The lack of empathy and transactional approach is scary obvious. I would not recommend this psychiatrist.

This man diagnosed me after 15 minutes of talking to me with a condition that every other doctor has told me does not apply to my symptoms. He did not ask questions to understand background or context to try to understand my concerns. He rudely insisted I listen to him only without trying to help me understand why he his diagnosis or prescriptions were recommended, worse is that he was rude and impatient whenever I tried to explain my concerns. This means he not only fails to collect information carefully but he actually actively rejects information that you provide that doesn’t match his immediate assumptions instead of explaining and elucidating. His inability to hide his annoyance and utter lack of affect gave me the impression that his ego and superiority was all that he based his motivation and behavior on. He wanted me to start several meds based on a 15 minute meeting. I fear for vulnerable patients who have anxiety and need assurance as he perceives disagreement as insult.
