Dr. Kamel Louis Kamel, MD

He visits the SNF that my mother is at and the guy seems like a total creep. I'd heard a few nurses complain about him being creepy and then one day when he was at the facility I overheard him making some very inappropriate and off color comments to some of the younger nurses. He was even trying to take "selfies" with them. What does he want those pictures for? It's kind of creepy for a 50 something year old doctor to be trying to take pictures with younger CNAs that he hardly knows, right? I won't go into detail about his comments to them but they were definitely sexual. I put my foot down and made sure that he is to be nowhere near my mother.

Dr. Kamel is attndng Psych at a Skilled Nursing where my StepFather needed an Alzheimer's evaluation. I made myself available to provide any background he needed and Dr. Kamel could not have cared less about the patient and flat out told me that he did not have time for me. He was willing to sign off on meds without having even seen the patient and accused me of arguing when I asked if that was necessary. He recommended one anti-psychotic and when I asked what the effects might be for my stepfather Dr. Kamel's response was "He could die." That was it. He was patronizing, superior and everything that embodies what is terrifying about the skilled nursing industry. I guarnatee that he's a lawsuit waiting to happen.
