Dr. Kamran Safdar, MD

I found Dr. Safdar to be very knowledgeable pertaining to my liver condition. He did not hurry through my consultation and explained all information in layman's terms. He ordered 2 different tests which were done right after my appointment was over. I had my next appointment scheduled the next day at an office closer to my home. I very much like the doctor as well as the man.

He never actually examined me. Poor communicator. Never explained the procedure he ordered. Another physician read his progress note he wrote about me and found incorrect medical information within the note. Go to a different GI physician in the city.

Dr. Safdar takes his time to hear my concerns and lays out treatment options. Very easy communication through the UC portal.

and his office staff lost my wife's critical liver biopsy slides forwarded to him by another hospital. During our initial consultation, which I also attended, we were never confident that her health was important to him

Dr. Safdar, himself is a very nice man, friendly and funny, but that is just not enough. Getting my test results is next to impossible, terrible! I was given a Critical result over the phone, and then told Dr. was on vacation. I had nightmares and could not sleep for 4 days. Person said I had to speak with Dr. Safdar to find out what this result means. I wish I would have Fired them on that day. I am waiting for an appointment on a proceedure that Dr. Safdar ordered 4 months ago, but staff does not return my phone calls. I am Firing this mess to find someone who will not treat people this way!

very poor professional attitude. does not speak clear english. not interested in patients well-being.
