Dr.Saraf, is a great doctor I am going to miss him a great deal.I am also sad to see great people leave Kaiser like himself. Maybe one day I can come to your office if it don't work out here. Thank you so much.

I've seen so many doctors over the past several years about my neck and back pain. They all either said they cannot do anything about it, offered me more surgery (I’ve already had three surgeries and each makes me worse), offered me more medications. None of them knew what is wrong with me. Dr. Saraf walked into the room, and from the first second, was the most pleasant doctor experience I’ve ever had. He spoke with me about all I’ve been through. He reviewed records. He showed me a lot of pictures on the internet about what the problem is with my body and he told me exactly how he is going to fix me. I’ve been dealing with severe pain for more than 10 years. This man met with me one time in his office and then scheduled me for a procedure. I have been ABSOLUTELY PAIN FREE for about ten months now. My life has truly changed. I cannot ever go back to the painful life I had before. I am writing this now because my niece came to visit with her new baby and I… played with the baby and held it and remembered how sad I was with the other baby a few years ago that I could not hold due to my severe pain. Dr Saraf seriously changed my life. I hope he finds a good woman to take care of him because he is so kind and giving.

I have a chronic pain condition and a painful autoimmune disorder. Upon my first and only meeting with Dr. Saraf, he spoke a lot and listened very little. It seemed as though he had already made some type of judgment against me and either did not believe me and my medical history or actually just didn't care. He presented as rude, dismissive and aloof. I left his office feeling disappointed, drained of energy and still in need of medical attention.

When I first cane to dr Saraf I was criminally over medicated for back pain. After seeing him he did progressive injections and minor surgery that lowered my pain significantly. I went from unbearable 9-10 pain to 4-10 pain. I also stepped down on the narcotic pain meds by 75% over a 12 month time period. I am still a patient of dr saraf and am very happy with his care. He listens to me and together we plan on how to get me feeling better. I would recommend him to anyone. From personal experience there are so many doctors who prescribe way to much medicine or some who prescribe none and treat u like a drug addict. I have experienced both and am really happy I got to work with dr saraf.

I went and saw him before he left the practice. He rushed me and was extremely rude. I am not overweight, however, have a thyroid problem. I have suffered with gaining weight over this past year and am working really hard to get it off. He reprimanded me for my size and I could tell that we was judging my weight and appearance. It made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. He is now at Kaiser. I guess that makes sense when you lack compassion for treating others, that might be different from you.

Dr. Kamran Saraf is one of those "real" doctors: he *listens* and observes you before telling you the options you have. He treated me for lumbar spinal pain control and was remarkable. I come from an extended family full of doctors, and can tell when they are in practice for building up a medical corporation or actually treating patients. He is there for patients, not insurance companies.

I have been with Dr. Kamran Saraf for at least six years. He is one of the most caring and compassionate doctors I know, always friendly and ready to help his patients. (He will go the extra mile when necessary) Dr. Saraf is an excellent listener (I never feel rushed) and very intelligent. I suffer from chronic arthritis pain including my neck, shoulder, hips and knees and have some back pain issues as well. Over the years, I can attest that Dr. Saraf is not programmed to do a 1 procedure fits all type of remedy. He truly understands that everyone’s body is unique and strives to use his vast knowledge to recommend a program suitable for each individual. In addition, his technique in the procedure room is lively but also, very professional. He administers an average of 8 procedures per year with me and all have been without incident. It’s a magnificent feeling when you can have an excellent Dr. that is very personable, communicative, knowledgeable, happy, uses very sterile practices… and is outstanding in his field! Steve L.
