Dr. Kamran Tareen, MD

No, I would never recommend Dr. Tareen to my family and friends! He yelled at me as his patient. When I asked him about a holistic approach to treating my hypertension initially I asked for a list of foods to include in my diet to lower my blood pressure to which he agreed, only to tell the receptionist to tell me to Google it! During another visit I asked about a holistic approach to treating my hypertension he ignored my question and continued a rant where without lab work to support his claims he stated he was sure that my kidneys were in worse condition than they were two years ago. I again asked the question he ignored previously about what could be done to treat my hypertension with a holistic approach and he had the audacity to reply to me, "You need to become a Vegetarian and live in a vacuum!" He made the comment in the presence of the Nurse Practitioner who works with him. He's rude, condescending, and egotistical! He tries to over medicate patients. I dropped him as my PCP.… He is the worst doctor that I have experienced in my 42 years of living!!!

They were very unprofessional, nor sympathetic to the needs of the public. While being agitated for constantly stopping by the doctors office, and seeing it closed, I expressed a great concern. One of the nasty receptionist told me that I need to call to make an appointment. I told her that I have attempted to call on many occasions but no one ever answers. At that time the nasty receptionist again said that I need to try calling to make an appointment. I further spoke my piece and requested that my records be sent to the medical office directly across the hallway after filling out the appropriate forms.

I have been going to Dr. Tareen for over 20 years. I have moved several times but refuse to switch doctors. Dr. Tareen is down to earth, makes you comfortable and very caring. He takes his time and listens to what you have to say. Then talks about the different options there are to take care of any issues. After all this time, I feel Dr. Tareen is part of my extended family!

Dr. Tareen is very caring. Even when I don't follow up on appointments, he or his office will call to remind me. His staff is very personable. Although I moved, I refuse to change doctors.
