Dr. Kandi Terrell Knightshead, MD

My family & I just love Dr. Knightshead. She's a beauty on the inside and out. I recently had a colon resection at Onslow memorial hospital. I did not feel right about anything until I spoke with Dr. K. She was straightforward with everything and was very personable. She told me the potential anesthesia problems and the surgical problems that may occur. Let's say, by the time she finished with me, I had an EAR full. All the while she told me all of this, she eased my fears tremendously. She also had to quickly find my heart doctor's information on the day of surgery. I was very glad that she took the time to get to know me and my medical issues so that she could best provide anesthesia. After the surgery, she followed me to the ICU (so says my family) and she returned several days later to check on me. Just shows that she cares. Will always have surgery at Onslow as long as she is there!!!
