Dr. Kaniz Fatema Begum, MD

Dr. Begum was very thorough and patient with me when I saw her. She listened to all my complaints and explained everything very well so I could understand. She is an excellent doctor and I continue to visit her as a result.

I don't know how she gets so many patients! There must be some reasons behind it. My mom sees her just because she speaks our language. I have requested my mom over and over to not to see this doctor again but she doesn't listen. This doctor along with her staff are never friendly and behave very rudely. She is so unprofessional that when my mom complained about a lump in her breast, the doctor said it's nothing serious and gave her some medications. Soon after my mom was diagnosed with a stage 3 breast cancer! She always gets very personal with my mom and comments on our family related issues and that really affects my relationship with my mom. For example, she would say things like, oh what kind of a son do you have who doesn't accompany you when you come to me! He doesn't care about you! Every single time my mom goes for an appointment like in the morning, the doctor ends up seeing her in the late afternoon! Every freaking time! Well if you have so many patients that they need to… wait for hours to see you, then may be you should stop accepting new patients for a while! That's what the other doctors do! Oh wait, how will you do that! You need all those money! We would have to get an appointment just for her to fill out a form for my mom and wouldn't be able to get it for at least a couple of months! Crazy! AVOID HER AT ALL COSTS!
