Dr. Kanwal M. Khan, MD

Referred me to the wrong specialty for a condition that she didn't take any time with. She is very resistant to bloodwork for anything other than very basic things. I spent nearly a year struggling with a health issue that she wasn't even listening to. She doesn't seem to have much more than a high school level of understanding of nutrition.

Dr. Khan is incredibly caring and listens to my concerns. She always knows how to proceed if I have a problem.and is very kind. I feel confident with the advise she gives me. I’m glad she was recommended to me. She also gets back to me quickly when I have a question or I’ve had a test and would like the results.

She didn’t give any diagnosis for my problems. Was way too easy to get a quick appointment which should have been a red flag for me. When tests came back with high thyroid, she said it was probably lab error.

Dr Khan truly cares. She takes time to make the correct diagnosis. I’m very comfortable in her office

Great doctor! She listens well & discusses everything with you. There's never a long wait in the waiting room or exam room, she spends time with you & will get the appropriate tests (MRI, blood work, etc.) set up for you. Appointments are easy & the office staff is fantastic! If there's something she finds that she can't take care of (like something found on a scan) she'll refer you to a specialist who can. Bonus: since she's located in a hospital-you can get MRI's, tests, blood work, etc there! It's nice to have it all in one place instead of having to go somewhere just to get blood work. Also, there's a ton of specialists in the same hospital so it's almost a one stop hospital in a way.

The only con is she doesn't want to give meds for sleep when you have been dx with a problem already have clap and restless leg syndrome!!!!

I was really happy to find a new doctor that would fit the bill for my needs. Dr. Khan explains everything thoroughly and is very efficient in outlining the steps needed to assure responsible monitoring of my health. She is kind and firm at the same time which is how a doctor should be.

Dr Kahn is a wonderful Dr. She is very caring and compassionate , takes the time to listen and not make you feel uncomfortableor that she is in a hurry. Very important to us! She was very interested in my husbands history and offered educated diagnosis and care plan. We will be making her our Dr from now on. You will love her!
