Dr. Kap-Jae Sung

Horrible bedside manner. Told patient she was too fat and spoiled when she flinched at the pain. A month after mastectomy we found a stitch left behind!!!????!!!!

Not even worth one star. I got breast ultrasound about a month ago and result showed that I have multiple cysts on both breasts and they are benign. Breast pain didn’t go away but it got worse so my gynecologist referred me to that doctor. After I arrived there, I was waiting for a doctor to come into the room for examination but nurse practitioner came in instead. She explained that since the result showed that they are benign, doctor ordered her to examine me. I made an appointment to see him not nurse practitioner. Plus, ultrasound is operator dependent so sonographer might missed something serious. Even though I was mad about this situation, but I was trying to understand this situation in a good way; maybe he has a lot of patients or something. But, on my way out I saw him sitting at his desk and doing nothing (I googled him before, so I knew his face). He just didn’t bother to care of his patient based on the record. Very unprofessional. Don’t waste of your time and money. Find… other breast specialists if you care about your health.

worth waiting for the best and complete examination given to me in Dr sung's office many times over the years for fibrocystic Breasts history and removal of some painful ones in the hospitals He used...what a load of my chest the biopsies were negative each time and my pain was relieved...I have grown accostumed to the waiting at the office and bring a book to pass that time( removal of the cysts...not my Breasts)

Although you wait in the waiting room sometimes up to over an hour, once you go in to see Dr. Sung, you could be in there an hour! Very thorough and doesn't rush you out. I love Dr. Sung!

Dr. Sung is one of the few doctors you can find with who you will feel comfortable. He is kind and knows his work very well. I wish there were more doctors like him! God bless you Dr. Sung

This doctor expects a person to wait an average of 4 hours in his office. When a patient dares to comment to the receptionist about the waiting time she snaps at you and then tells the doctor that you have been complaining! Go to another doctor... my time matters to me.

I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, I feel Dr.Sung is a competent surgeon and feel he knows his expertise in this field of surgery very well. I will leave my fate to him and trust him as a surgeon and a professional. I feel he would only do what he has to help the patient and nothing more. I feel he is a caring doctor and sympathetic towards his patients and when speaking to other patients they have nothing but good things to say about him, so that states something about him as a doctor. He seems to make you feel that he can be trusted as a physician and a surgeon. I would recommend him, if anyone needed a doctor or surgeon. He helped my husband in 2002 and diagnosed his problem just by examining him that tells me a lot.

In my opinion, Dr. Sung is the BEST surgeon/specialist around. Having had several outpatient surgeries which he performed, I feel that I am very qualified to attest to his professional abilities. He has great compassion for his patients and treats them with exceptional care. He never rushes through his office appointments,which may be evidenced by the sometimes crowded waiting room. Rest assured, he devotes as much time as needed to each and every one he sees. Once you intially meet him, you understand why so many refuse to find another specialist. He is truly dedicated and strives to provide the best medical attention and treatment to all of his patients.

My first visit to this office was a pleasure. I was very nervous and staff was so kind and understanding. I did wait for 2 hours but when I met Dr. Sung, I felt like I knew him for years. His bedside manner was so wonderful, for the first time in a long time i wasn't rushed out of an office. I am going to be seeing him every 6 months for my breast issues. I assure you he will give the best care..
