Please proceed carefully with this dishonest place. The care was fine, but I wish I would have read the reviews, as I too experienced untrustworthy billing practices. Their billing codes were questionable and they clearly tried to maximize ways to bill insurance. Be aware that if you want a normal physical, they won’t read your previous medical history, you’ll be required to go to a 30-minute ‘pre-visit’ chat with the doctor to give them the information…and then they’ll bill you for that visit, and it is NOT billed as ‘preventative,’ so many insurances don’t pay for it. They said that it was normal in the industry to do that…none of my family had ever heard of that, but regardless, the fact is I was NOT WARNED that it would be billed separately and that I would owe money, and I find that dishonorable. I was required to fill out a depression survey in the lobby before both visits, but it was never discussed during the visits…THEN they billed my insurance TWICE for under… ‘health/risk assessment.’ This is unethical and insurance fraud. They also billed my insurance TWICE for the second visit (the actual physical), saying it wasn’t all preventative. They later dropped that charge when I raised the question. They did not drop the charges for the surveys. I was told there’s no reason I should be questioning what I was billed for since insurance paid that part. (I still had to pay for the 1st visit) You wonder why our insurance premiums are going up. When I saw my bills and EOBs, I assumed that there was a mistake, so I spoke with the office assistant, Jeanine. I quickly discovered that it was all intentional. I then spoke with the office manager, James. This guy was rude and ageist, and admonished me for ‘accusing them of being fraudulent when I had no idea what I was talking about and I didn’t know how the industry worked.” He also told me it wasn’t his fault that I had crappy insurance that wouldn’t pay for the first visit. Um, no. I am done with them. I ended up having to pay over $250 out of pocket. Please be careful.

Finding a new doctor that isnt burdened by a large system was tough. This clinic was referred by several friends and a coworker. Got in within a week.

One of the people who left feedback said they wish they had read the reviews... and I could say the same. As you can see there are a lot of very strong reviews and some very bad ones. I suppose if nothing's actually a health concern with you and you just have an annual exam, the staff is friendly and nice enough. So much went wrong for my husband that I canceled my own appointment to continue with this office. They misdiagnosed a reading from his blood work, ignoring the fact that he was on an antibiotic that was the issue (that they were aware about because hes been in for several visits). They acted confused when we tried to follow up. When going to another doctor he was immediately pulled off this medication and could have been severely affected us his health was declining. Hes doing much better now thankfully that we left this office. When I tried to follow up again everybody was confused....... I was going to get a call back and I never did. When I canceled my… appointment today and I expressed that I had concern that about my husband's care... do you think they asked about why? Nope. They were like "OK thank you"... click. So clearly they're not intrested in improving. Dr Kassey works 2 days a week, and she's never available for phone calls for medical clarifications. Another thing that you will read on these reviews is about the money. In the span of 3 months we have spent over a thousand dollars with this office because they don't take phone calls. Whenever you talk to someone on the phone they have no idea what they're talking about and they just keep telling you to come back in. But every time you come back in its another $200-$300. So if you're healthy you're probably safe to go ahead and use this office, but if you already are coming in with some health issues to deal with, I HIGHLY recommend you go elsewhere.

As many, many others have said... wish i would have read these reviews before experiencing this on my last three visits in a row... they take advantage of people by trying to bill their insurance for unnecessary tests. Great doctor with very shady practices. Very disappointing. Worst of all is as they have grown they just pass you off to new students... I have seen Kassay for 2+ years haha what a joke.

My doctor retired and went to work for one of the big hospitals. I called and the wait is over 2 months to see the same doc been seeing forever! Asked for referral on FB and made appointment in a couple days. Wow. Nobody seemed rushed and like their reviews say, they run on time. Their rating is justified. The only negative reviews were about insurance and that is the new fact of life. You gotta know your policy.

My doctor retired after being with her 15 years. I asked around on facebook and Dr. Kassay was recommended by 7 of my friends. I made my first appointment with Kristine the first week and was able to get a same day visit a few weeks ago saving me a visit to urgent care. Even my last doctor was a week to get an appointment! The staff all seem to like their jobs and are very friendly and the doctors seem very 'present' in the room. I'm sad my doctor retired but I am happy I found this clinic.

My complaint is exactly the same as the first post. They use incorrect billing codes to find a way for you to pay, they have found a loophole. They also repeatedly have you come in for an illness but very slow to refer you to a specialist, and sometimes you have to request a specialist. There is nothing accomplished at the multiple appointments, other than their accounts receivable growing so they can make a profit. I went three days in a row and they still have no idea what is wrong with me and I had to ask for medication. Find another Doctor, not only for your health, but one that doesn't charge a 25.00 late fee if your balance isn't PIF within 90 days.

Dr. Kassay has developed her practice around maximum ways to bill insurance. She us very, very slow to refer you out for a problem but very quick to require you to come in to see her repeatedly. Little to nothing us accomplished at her appointments. Complete waste of time and money. I feel right now she is dangerous for my health. Frustrated and scared.

My daughter started seeing Dr Kassay about 2 years ago. I did not want her to see my doctor because I did not think she was good. We found Dr.Kassay and even though she is busy you don't have to wait because she is smart and efficient. She spends enough time with you so you get a good diagnosis or referal and you get your questions answered. She is the best.
