Dr. Kara Marie Villareal, MD

Ive had my gallbladder out over a year ago and ever since then ive been having complications. My scar is horrific and the pain i have interferes with my daily activities. Im constantly going to the ER in pain. I am waiting to get a second opinon from another GI specialist. Im only 23 and should not be dealing with these complications. Ill never be the same again after she did my surgery. Not recommended.

I was referred to Dr. Kara Villareal and couldn't have been more satisfied. I was originally referred for gallbladder issues but Dr. Villareal didn't immediately jump into surgery; she referred me to a GI specialist and we found another issue causing my symptoms. Dr. Villareal is so knowledgeable but makes you feel like you are THE most important patient when she talks to you. She explained everything very clearly and honestly. She makes your issue understandable and calms you with her knowledge. She is friendly and caring and has a great sense of humor. I also dealt a little with Dr. McClary and she appears to have the same qualities. Same with the staff. I recommend Dr. Villareal and the Arizona Preferred Surgeonn group.

Dr. Villarreal is wonderful. She is brilliant, kind and has very compassionate. She did surgery on my small bowel and everything went very well. Thank you.

She should not be doctor, she did my surgery and I had so many other problems along with that. Thank god there were other good doctors to take care of me afterwards and I got saved. When i complaint to her she was so rude with me.

I Had a very good experience with this Dr.. I agree strongly that this is a good Dr. I would reccommend Her highly. Very focused. I am doing very well. Trust this Dr.

dr. villareal performed laparoscopic surgery for a hernia repair that has turned into a real problem with no good answers, I wish we would have looked at her ratings before she did the surgery because there not very good

I strongly disagree with the above reviews. I could not have asked for a better doctor. She asked a lot of questions & was extremely informative. I came out of surgery with very minimal pain. I took maybe 5 or 6 vicodin out of 30. THAT IS A GOOD SURGEON!!! No complications. After leaving the follow up appointment, I was actually thinking to myself that what they say about all surgeons is not true. She was very friendly a engaging. I would recommend her to family & friends in a heart beat. To the above reviews, if either of you had ever taken a psychology class, you would know that surgeons are typically a â??type Aâ?? personality, which is what make them so good at doing their job. They are there to do a job, not become your BFF.

This person "should not" be a doctor. She has zero respect for people and treats you worse than an animal.
