Dr. Kara Michelle Wallace, MD

I have been going to Dr Wallace's office for about a year and they have told me they would schedule me to meet the doctor but she is never available. I have only seen the nurse practioner. Her staff is highly dependent on the technology running the office which, in my experience, is a detriment to the patient. I discovered skin cancer, and was required to take an active role in getting appointments with the dermatologist, They would have let me wait for five months before I had surgery if I had relied on Dr Wallace's staff to coordinate.. When I called for a referral to an alternative dermatologist, who I had to find, it took two day and numerous calls to get the referral. While the staff is helpful, I feel that if I do not directly manage my care that the Nurse Practioner may miss something critical and the doctor is not aware of my condition nor even sees her patients. When you add in billing issues, and the constant intrusion of the reminders they send along with the… website the staff is completely reliant on, I do not currently have any confidence that the this office is paying attention to my medical needs.

Dr. Wallace oversees and coordinates my care for a variety of illnesses. For every visit at Dr. Wallace's office the past twelve years, I could have chosen to visit another family doctor. But I never considered leaving her practice. I never considered leaving her practice because --- she or one of her CNPs Anna or Courtney are available on short notice; --- they all invest time listening and communicating; --- they all welcome my input and involvement in my care, fully respecting our partnership in my health care; --- wait times are very reasonable; --- the entire office staff is warm, personable, and friendly; --- and I justifiably enjoy full confidence in their knowledge and skill. I recommended Dr. Wallace to several persons seeking primary medical care, and will continue to do so.

Dr. Wallace is such a blessing to me and my family. After about 25 years, my family doctor "released our family as patients" but it was a blessing for me because I found a doctor that listens to my needs. Dr. Wallace and her staff have finally diagnosed me correctly and my suffering has ended after 5 years of having problems that my previous doctor would not address. Dr. Wallace and staff actually listened to what I had to say and seemed to genuinely want to help me. I always enjoy going to see them. Very friendly, but professional and informative!

Dr. Wallace, Natalie, Rema, and Jeff are all great! Unlike most Doctor's you will get a lot of attention. She does not spend 3 minutes with you and runs out. I hate to be hurried, and not get my questions answered. I want someone who you can talk to and feel comfortable with, you will find that here. I feel like I have excellent care!

Dr. Wallace is a excellent doctor always willing to help when needed.

I have been a patient of Dr. Wallace's since her beginning here in Huntsville and I've received nothing but the upmost care from both her and her staff with every move she's made to better herself in her medical field. It's been a joy to be a patient of Dr. Wallace and seeing her business grow to the extent that she has had to move her office 3 times now due to the extended growth that she has brought to her business so this tells you a lot about a young doctor that has great bedside manner, seems to keep up on what is knew in the medical field and what can best help her patients and applies it to each and every patient she has. Dr. Wallace is definitely a keeper, a great family doctor and I always look forward to my quarterly visits with her. She has kept me medically abreast on my condition even when I thought she wasn't doing her job : ) so HATS OFF TO YOU DOCTOR WALLACE. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. YOU ARE AN ASSET TO HUNTSVILLE AND THEY WOULD LOSE A GREAT DOCTOR IF EVER YOU… DECIDED TO LEAVE HUNTSVILLE, which I hope that never ends.
