Dr. Karamali Abdulsultan Bandealy, MD

My husband called 11/7 to get his prescription refilled and the message on the phone stated no longer in business as of November 1 2023. They never called my husband so he could set up for new doctor. Terrible

I am a new patient to Dr. Bandealy at the Orlando location and unfortunately my experience has not been good. Overall, the service from both the office and the doctor have been transactional and unprofessional. The entire set-up is a very automated, there was minimal interaction nor empathy. The interest seemed to be getting me in and out as quickly as possible. To contact the doctor, it has been a nightmare! There process is a call center (third party) that provides poor customer service and inaccurate information. In summary – Dr. Bandealy was dismissive during both of my visits, no eye contact and showed no interest in understanding my concerns. He has poor bedside manner, failed to ask open ended questions nor provide any reassurance as it relates to my condition. I have been chasing Xray’s results for weeks, still waiting on Dr. Bandealy to contact me directly and address my follow up concerns. Today I had a customer service representative read me the doctor’s recommendations a… complete lack of professionalism and privacy. I will not be visiting this office nor using Dr. Bandealy as my Rheumatology doctor - extremely disappointed!

Dr. Bandealy doesn’t care about his patients, spends very little time with you and doesn’t do a very good job explaining your labs to you nor answering any of your questions. He is very dismissive and doesn’t take the time to listen to you when you are trying to express your symptoms/concerns with him. I have Lupus and in the year and a half that I was being treated by him, my Lupus became significantly worse due to his negligence and not prescribing me the proper medications. With a disease like Lupus, you cannot afford to have a doctor who doesn’t listen to you and hear you out when you are in pain or have concerns. He eventually discharged me for being “non-complaint” for not returning his phone calls in a timely manner, and I was left high and dry without my medications. He is very rude and only sees his patients as a paycheck. Don’t think I have ever even seen him smile. Do not waste your money or time with him. Office staff is also extremely rude, disorganized, never answers your… phone calls nor returns your phone calls, and I was always left waiting at least an hour after my appointment times.

I been taking my wife to this office about 8 months ago, the first apointment that wasn't easy to schedule. after waiting for more than months, finally whe visit the office, to do the check in, the person from the front desk said, that the apointment was cancel, I ask them wy they didn't call us before, to reschedule o, to give us to oportunity to decide what to do. They said they call, but that it not correct, we dont have missing calls no message. So they resolve with a apologies and reschedule for another months, finally we get the apointment and the diagnostic my wife with arthritis rheumatoid disease, from the Dr. Karamali whit no friendly face, like saying dont ask me question. For the second apointment, we have to wait mor than a hour, other than that, no problem. Know the third visit, we hade to paid 50.00 dollars for copays plus 45 more, because my wife find out she miss a apointment, they charge fo not calling before to cancel but we didn't hade that intention to cancel, we… never received any courtesy call to remind us for the apointment. That very saddest because the money dosent came to easy we hade to work hard to save money to able to pay Bill's and the Drs. They can cancel the apointment with out, telling us, when we schudel apointment to the Dr. Office some time we hade to call sick on our job, O, separate that day, is hard to do that especially for does that have to work 6day in the week, when The Dr. Office cancel our apointment and they forget to call the patient, the patient can't charge the office, write? The America Medical Association, O the government shult revised double check this police, they supposedly defend are rights O our money.

Bad office management they don’t care about the patient and he also doesn’t have an experience

No matter what time of day I schedule at either location, I have never waited less than an hour for a 15 minut. The doctor bases everything off of lab results, as opposed to my personal feelings of pain or physical signs of inflammation, etc. There have been multiple occasions where my medications were not refilled for weeks or I have to do labs twice in a week-long period. The staff is extremely disorganized with poor phone manners as well. In addition to that, the doctor is continously pushing me onto more drugs as opposed to physical therapy and holistic / natural methods. The Nurse Practitioner, Tina, is very friendly and makes me feel as if she cares about my pain management and improving my illness. If I could switch clinics, I would have years ago.

Office staff sucks and a few missing brain cells. I drive 45 minutes to get to the office and after25 minutes waiting, told 'Oh, we had you for an appointment but we cancelled because of insurance verification from the week before. They didn't give courtesy to verify that insurance company's servers were down the week before and I told them that they needed to call later in the day. But, noooo! That's too hard, it's easier to cancel the appointment but don't tell the patient they did that. Oh, we called 2 minutes ago and your insurance verified, so we can see you tomorrow. Um, no! This is the second time happened. No more. The doctor needs to fire everyone of those incompetent people, but sadly this is probably the best from the employee pool. Sad! I'm off to find another doctor closer to home. Be careful anyone who is referred to this office. I'd think twice about going to them.

When I mentioned to the Dr. that I have been waiting over 2 1/2 hours....His initial response was that I find another Dr. if I don't want to wait !

Made an appointment 6 weeks ago and called to confirm and was told I had No Appointment with them and the next appointment was not until May. The staff was very Rude and not polite at all. Supervisor "Julie" came on the phone intrusive and was told I could complain and hung up on me/slammed phone. Would not want to go there if that is how I would be treated.

I brought my referral to my appointment and I was told my appointment was cancelled without prior notification. I asked to see the Office Manager and she was too busy to see me. Treated very poor by Staff member. I am notifying my Insurance Co. Do not recommend this Doctor at all.
