Dr. Karan Bhalla

The girl in the front Lorena is so rude. I would not consider going back to the drs when they have such rude, and inconsiderate individual working in the front. She was loud and rude and she embarrassed me im front of the other patients in the lobby they could hear my business. That is HIPPA violation. They moved me from room to room and they did not even sanitized the room they were moving me too. Patients come to dr because they don't feel good and this inconsiderate person didn't not have any empathy. I thought very highly of this group but Lorena as an individual should not be working if you are not a caring and compassionate person you are in the wrong profession. I am going to send D. Bhalla a letter and to the practice manager as well.

Dr Bhalla is an outstanding cardiologist with great skills and kind heart. His wife takes care of my sleep apnea. Great staff. Clean office.

The office staff won't answer the phone, return phone calls, forward test results requested by other doctors and hospitals. One lady even insulted my wife by questioning her Christianity for complaining about the service. Where I work, that would be grounds for immediate termination.

Surprised to go see a cardiologist. First they took my pressure, then their assistant came with someone else to ask about my symptoms and why I was there, after that they gave me an electrocardiogram, then Dr. Karan came just to tell me that they would do an ultrasound of my heart and an endurance test. After that, he came back to tell me everything was fine, return for a follow-up visit in a month. I had to ask him why I had arrhythmia, and then he gave me some explanation. The funny thing is that Dr. never used his stethoscope to check me. It is sad that in these times almost all doctors are like him. They just want to order exams, and complete the information about the patient on their computer. They keep the distance with the patient as if they had an infectious disease. I had a follow-up visit the following month, and I didn't see Dr Bhala, it was his assistant who saw me. My next follow-up will be done with another doctor to see if it is also "a reader of evaluation results", I… don't like what most doctors have become, just charge for the visit and have the insurance pay them for the less time attending to patients.

I have had a history of heart problems for 18+ years. Recently I went to the hospital with a racing heart. A cardioversion was performed. The first unnamed Cardiologist immediately afterwards performed an angiogram to see what caused the problem and said I had no blockage, then later said 100% blockage but the risk of fixing it wasn't worth the reward. My EF was at 30 to 35%. I then went to another unnamed doctor who reviewed my case and prescribed a stress test. I thought, stress test, with a possible 100% blockage doesn't sound like a good path forward. My son told me to go see Dr. Bhalla on the advice of his grandmother who said Dr. Bhalla had saved his grandfathers life more than once. Dr. Bhalla look at the same test results that the other two cardiologist has seen and said it looks like I have an 80 to 90% blockage and asked me why the other doctor didn't fix it while he was there. I told him that the first cardiologist said that the risk wasn't worth the reward. Dr.… Bhalla immediately said we need to fix this immediately. I knew I had a skilled doctor at this time. He was ready to take on the challenge that the first doctor said was too risky. He proceeded to add a stint to open the blockage in a very challenging place. Since then, I have recovered to an EF of a normal 60%. I have been to several cardiologist in the Pasadena and Clear Lake Tx area and none of them come close to Dr. Bhalla's bedside manner and confidence. Dr. Bhalla has been a blessing in my life. For me he is a Hero and a Rock Star of Cardiology and given me a real chance at a full life.

Cocky uncaring money hungry

I was correctly and timely diagnosed by Dr. Bhalla in one sitting, suggesting for an Angiogram . This was arranged in less than a week. The procedure was smooth and successful , two stents placed and discharged in less than 24 hours. The follow up counselling was very freindly and elaborate. I observed Dr. Bhalla as a true professional and expert in his own field. I am thankful to Dr. Bhalla and his staff.

Dr. Bhalla is the type of person you meet "once in a lifetime" who happens to also be the best heart surgeon in this area. I refer him to all of my friends in need a heart doctor as a person who truly cares.

Dr. Bhalla and his staff found and corrected a problem when previous visits to other medical professionals were not able to correctly diagnose the problem. Great Doctor, great staff. Always minimum wait time.
