Dr. Kareem Hamed Khozaim

I visited Dr. Kareem once last year. I wish all physicians were as caring as he is. He is a very good knowledgeable doctor and I am fortunate to have him as my doctor.

Kareem Khoziam - won’t call him a doctor - needs to be investigated!! I saw him at the Hilo Women’s Health Center! Not to mention my test results when I saw Victoria/Vanessa? are no where to be found on my chart. Based off other reviews, it looks like this insensitive, berating, humiliating excuse of a medical doctor has a habit of talking down to patients! It’s obvious he has highly negative opinions about womxn having active sex on the island. Don’t make it personal, Kareemy! Your personal beliefs have nothing to do with why people go to a doctor in the first place! My visit was over a year ago, and my time with him still haunts me!!! I realized I never wrote a review, and looking at other reviews, and trying to find past test results (which are MIA), reminded me how he needs be investigated! All potential bonuses CUT OFF! Disgusting excuse of a medical professional! Take a look at all his negative reviews and they all echo the same reviews! SHAME!!

Time, patience, detailed explanation, sensitivity, humor...I wish that all doctors were like Dr. Khozaim.

I have been seeing Dr. Khozaim since the beginning of my 3rd pregnancy. I am now being referred out at 34 weeks pregnant because he has belittled me multiple times. He is very naive and inexperienced. The last visit I had with him, he was pressuring me to get an IUD that I decided against after much research. Instead of respecting my decision and looking into other options, he shamed me for having close spaced pregnancies and a lack of self control. I am a married woman, a wonderful mother and all of my children were planned. My second child passed away at 3 months old which he mentioned very disrespectfully, saying "yeah your last child had a tragic end, so this pregnancy was wanted, but we want to avoid another pregnancy". Horrible. I am the one who has carried these babies and birthed them. I don't need some clueless insensitive doctor telling me I need an IUD because I might miss a birth control pill? You don't even know me. He is not a smart man, shouldn't be a doctor. Terrible.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Khozaim yesterday and he was so caring and understanding, and listened to my complaints and gave me options and solutions. I almost cancelled my appointment but I'm glad I didn't as he came up with low cost solutions (as I am uninsured) to my issues. Very knowledgeable and caring doctor - highly recommend the Hilo Bay Clinic and Dr. Kareem Khozaim.

Dr. Kareem is comforting, kind, and good at what he does. He’s young and at first I was surprised but he showed professionalism beyond his years. He preformed two surgeries on me and made them very easy and worthwhile. He’s willing to work with his patients and doesn’t be little you or ignore anything you bring to his attention. Very impressed with his work.
