Dr Tawfik was very thorough and targeted in on a possibly rare condition to explain my illness. I'm hopeful the next steps will cf his potential diagnosis and give me options to relieve my ear pain and difficulty swallowing.

Dr Tawfik is the best. I was sad and concerned when Dr Labadie left. I even traveled to see him in SC once; however, Dr Tawfik has filled his shoes effortlessly. Dr Tawfik has a great beside manner and is very knowledgeable.

Another doctor who said she was working with Dr T started asking me questions then Dr T came in and started asking me questions, I didn't like this- I had to repeat myself and wasn't sure about continuity

Over several months and multiple visits he ignored my concerns, told me everything I had going on was "normal". Said I would have to learn to live with the way I felt. Didn't even notate in my chart the concerns and symptoms I was having. Drove to another state and got a second opinion from an outstanding doctor at another hospital who read the same CT Dr. Tawfik did and confirmed my concerns. Thanks to Dr. Tawfik I was ill, in pain, multiple symptoms of an infection and issues, ran fevers for MONTHS, and was told it was normal. Currently scheduled and awaiting surgery for what he claimed was normal. Very disgusted.
